Why would you go and buy ticket especially for France. They can deny even frequent traveller not to talk of first timer:. Do not be discourage shaa. But next time do not pay for flight till you get visa. France are acting up lately denying visa and granting first timer as well. Seems it's a random thing for them now. |

That’s sufficient time if normal process is followed. I am a first time applicant. I submitted on 27th August and got notification last evening that the visa decision is ready. I’m here and anxious about what the outcome would be. It’s a long weekend in Nigeria so Tuesday seems so far. Fingers crossed and hoping for the best for me. I wish you all the best and hope it comes out early and positively. |

Hi Guys If my employer is sponsoring my trip do I need to submit his bank statement,TCC and all that? He's unwilling to let go of those. Would showing the received sum for the cost of the trip in my bank statement be enough? |

Dittoxcx:The embassy needs copies , not original. Please submit them to avert a rejection. |

Thank you for your response. But it's perfectly normal that my employer would be sponsoring my tourist trip? Or should I just say it's from my savings? hunee: |

vozkini:Thanks alot. My concern really is around the turnaround time to have a decision regardless of outcome. My organisation typically locks in the ticket for business travels, if in the unfortunate event visa is denied, they already have an set up that takes care of that. I'm praying of course I gey granted a visa but also in time for me travel on the 5th of October |

Plannie22:Oh woww, congratulations @Plannie22 I recall seeing your post that you need to travel Sept. 11 and I was praying and rooting for you. No worries, it will end in praise. With the holidays (today and Oct 01), do you think that affects the number of working days for french embassy or they would typically count those as working days in calculating turnaround time since it's not a french holiday? |

I’m not so sure but I think consulates tend to observe the public holidays of host countries as well. So, I doubt that they work on those days. GoalZero1: |

PLEASE HELP ME I applied for a group French visa with my wife using my email, and now I'm proceeding to TLS to schedule an appointment. Do we need to do this together, like on the visa site, or should we schedule separately using different accounts? |

Please I want to know if there are more debit transactions than a credit transaction on a personal statement account, will it jeopardize the challenge of getting a short stay visa regardless of the closed balance being on 8M? For instance, I always have a credit balance of 1.2 to 1.5M in a month but my debit transactions are almost 1.2 to 2M in a month. Please who there be any effect on the statement of account ahead of the submission date? I am curious and I want to know the chance limit ahead of time |

Good day house, please I just want to confirm if Nigerians need a transit visa flying turkish airline to france ? I really have no idea about Turkish airlines. Thank you |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by LordTyrion: 3:04pm On Sep 19, 2024 |
Purpleivy:No you don’t need a Transit visa flying via Turkish Airlines to France. I use Turkish Airlines frequently to the Schengen zones. |

Please I need clarification on the below: An application has November 6th as the travel date, but on getting to TLS website, the earliest date for biometrics is November 7th, I filled another form and tried to fill another form and extended the travel date till December, but the TLS website isn't accepting the same travel passport for another biometrics schedule. Please how do I deal with this? |
