It's brilliant that this "hardship contract" definition was clarified right on time before some start to think it's a kind of "hardship punishment." Lol. Some don't even have the patience to do simple searches on Google for any topic.

It's one of those contracts if you meet the target you get full payment but if you don't you get part payment. She has to meet her own side of the bargain to get 100% of the money agreed. This type of contracts happens more often in Nigeria here.
thanks

Nothing hardship in the definition though
The club (not the player) is in a hard (difficult) place, because they don't have enough players to prosecute matches.

I'll use football to explain it.

Imagine that a league says that a team must have a maximum of 23 players and minimum of 12 players in its squad for the season. Imagine that, during the season players get injured and suspended and the team is left with just 11 players.

Remember that the transfer window only runs in the summer and January. Imagine that this situation occurs outside the transfer window.

A hardship contract enables the team to sign a new player for a very short period of time until their players get better.

It's a difficult situation for the team because they are without their regular players. It is also difficult for the new player because he must come in and quickly blend with an existing system. Another difficulty for the new player is that they know that the contract is for a short period (one week, one month, etc) and they will have to leave when the regular players come back.

The advantage for the new player is that he or she gets to play in a big team or league and if he does well, he can be seen by other teams and get a better contract later.

A hardship contract is an emergency contract extended to a player by a team that has less than 11 players available to play. This may be either due to injuries or illness, but the contract ensures that teams have the necessary amount of players available to carry out a game.

It is in the second post on this thread. Everybody saw it. It contains a definition of hardship contract. How can anybody say that hardship contract was not defined?? It was defined on the thread. Who gives a damn if it was in that article or not? Can't you read??

My response stems from the first article.

Whoever wrote that article didn't try at all.
My premise is the article.

Who cares about the thread?
Anybody can misyarn or define nonsense.

It behoves on whoever wrote the article to explain things or terms the general public might not understand.

You mean that the WNBA that wrote an article for Americans should define a term that is well known to Americans.

It's now obvious to me that you know that you goofed and many people have pointed out to you that you goofed, but you are trying to safe face by running in circles. I have no time for that.

You rushed in to a thread, did not actually read what was written, jumped to conclusions and made mistakes, but you want to pretend that someone else is responsible.

Reading your posts or responding to you any further will be a complete waste of time. You don't have anything reasonable to say.'

Goodbye.

Shey u see how u sound ba?

So the article that found it's way to nairaland is for Americans .

So because of that, I cannot challenge the idiot American.

But if a Nigerian writes something about , let's say, the fattening room and it gets into an American blog, Americans will automatically know what fattening room means.

Or using ur line of thought, we have no business explaining to the West what it means.

Shebi na everyone sabi everything about basketball.

I'll say it again, the article is the public space.
That means it's being transmitted all over the world. It behoves on the idiot writer to make the most basic thing which was the caption understandable..

Use ur head. This has nothing to do with whether it's for Americans or Russians.

It's just common sense when writing.
