WWE's general musical direction has been going downhill since the late 2010s

It's worse more than ever with their current theme music producers, Def rebel.
The royal rumble we had earlier this year even Seth rollins in the crowd, could hardly tell who was coming out because the themes were mostly generic af.
I remember the days of Jim Johnston when wrestlers had classic iconic theme songs.
Even those as forgettable as David otunga had a banger theme music.
CFO who took over from Johnston produced good themes for sami zayn, nakamura,finn balor, undisputed era(memories of Kyle oreilly rocking the nxt tag title like an electric guitar cheesy

), Bobby rode, Tomaso ciampa during Nxt black and gold era.

Maybe, there's still hope as rumor going around is Def Rebel deal may be coming to an end with wwe.

I just heard Def Rebel is no longer signed with them.
Hopefully they will be improvements. They should change that themes song tho ASAP.

It’s an 1980s Cannon Films action flick. It’s everything right in the world. It’s two behemoths who fought to a literal standstill this week when they crashed through wall.
