the Lebanese don't majorly support Hezbollah. The country has a population percentage of 51% Christians and they're not in support of Hezbollah, same with the Sunni Muslims and the Druze. These groups are very anti Hezbollah and are calling for a protest to force Hezbollah to disarm and surrender.

The Lebanese are not all bloodthirsty fanatics like Gaza. That's why isreal have been very reluctant to start escalate until now. They have no choice but to begin this airstrikes to neutralise Hezbollah. Hezbollah have launched 11k rockets into Israel since October last year which have led to the displacement of 100k Isreali from the northern boarder.

Collateral damage of war is allowed in a war time but the attacker must give a notice, inform of a wide broadcast to the intended area or country so that the Civilians or the innocent which are mostly the young people and the old people including women, so that they can quickly evacuate the place.
