*Petrol Tanker Drivers Block Popular Spera Duo Junction In Abakaliki (Photo)*

Petrol Tanker drivers have blocked popular Spera Duo Junction in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, 9News Nigeria reports.

Our correspondent who visited the Spera Duo Junction Tuesday afternoon gathered that one of the taskforce members allegedly burst the tire of a tanker leading to disagreement between them.


One of the residents of the area, Barrister Sampson Ekigbo who saw when the incident happened told our correspondent a task force operative threw a nail under the tanker and burst the tire.

According to him, "the driver of the tanker was driving when a member of the Taskforce threw a nail under his vehicle which pierced the tire".

"The driver called other of his members and they had to block the road. Now, we can't pass. Even security Operatives are begging them but they don't want to listen", he said.

As at the time of filing this report, our correspondent counted about 8 tankers and more still coming to join them.

Efforts to speak with the leader of task members proved abortive as none of them agreed to be the leader.
