In a world where people are always looking for an easy way out, he chose to remain steadfast to a course.
He probably loves Physics which many science students know is not so easy.
He could have been doing other things while he stayed on it, we never can tell; for those saying he could have started a business.

He could have changed the course of study to some probably lighter or easier one, but chose to see this to the end.

I had a friend who got a 3rd class in Aeronautic engineering from Imperial College and was immediately admitted into Goldman Sachs as an analyst and into an MBA programme at London Business School after completing a 9-month postgraduate certificate. The point was that aeronautics is a demanding degree.

My first degree was Physics with Maths, and I struggled throughout the degree, even after graduating, because I wasn't clued up on Quantum Mechanics. I did a second degree in applied engineering called Avionic (Aerospace Engr) and found that much easier due to my physics degree background.

Physic is very hard to understand in a country like Nigeria, which has deplorable secondary school educational facilities. There is a reason why all Nigerian technology is imported.
