Min 23 hours 30 mins here in Lagos. Most times light doesn't go off for two to three days.

I have not switched on my generator for more than a month now. I pray it remains this way so SA people will stop shouting Generator Republic.

Since the day I posted this, the electricity company has been switching off the power supply at 8 pm in the night and switching it back on at 1 am. It is like you people use this thread to scout on us.

I guess it depends on what band you're on. I'm on Band B where I live in Idimu (Lagos), and we enjoy 16-18 hours of power supply daily...no fail.

Even 24hours we no see for this year in Igboho Oyo state

It doesn't follow.

There was a time Kainji dam supplied most of the power supply but it's not so any longer. So rainy season or not, power supply has improved

That’s in the past be updated!!!..
Power is mostly generated in Nigeria now using gas..with egbin power station the biggest capacity currently in Nigeria and they use only gas!!..
