TheGoodJoe:

I will give you a hint.

Most times when teams are in possession, (possessive teams, they set up with three defending players. Kompany does it with two which is impressive. Which means his midfield and offensive setup is more attacking.

Things like this, I believe you have not looked into it at all. But it is easy to type "there is no tactical wonder".
No one will care about all this if he does not progress in the UCL

Are they sticking with Eguavoen ?
His in game management skills particularly in the second half still in question
It’s up to NFF
They need to sort this out quickly
Maybe get foreign technical analysts to assist him
Looks that way
But they haven't offered him a contract yet

Unfortunately they did not respect Finidi
Some got to camp late
Unfortunately for Finidi, it appears Eguavoen is a better communicator & the charismatic one of the two
Probably more socially intelligent too
Even though Peseiro wasn’t a great communicator, he had the social intelligence part going on for him
A coach can’t succeed in modern times with only football IQ, especially at that high level
Nigeria cannot play with 4 defenders at this point
Hopefully Tosin Adarabioyo can come in to help
I first lost some confidence in Finidi when he was interviewed by Arise TV. He was so underwhelming that I couldn't finish the interview. He struggles to express himself.

Just telling my colleague in the office that I don't blame England oo for wanting to have a taste of these players but as a player you have to analyze the history of England in such matters as well as the potential effect of choosing either England or Nigeria based on your level of skill and the needs of both teams

In a certain sense Nigeria is a more successful footballing nation than England. We have 3 continental titles. I don't think they have any. Their last major tournament achievement was in 1966.

See Ademola is in pole position to become Apoty just less than 5 years of switching.

My point is: use your head, player, use your head.

They never learn. They allow the glitz of playing for England to trump the impact they can make by playing for us.

My opinion
We need to back the very best of our own
Helping them with upgraded courses, data science, analysts, transition, sequence and set piece specialists etc
We keep getting scraps from Europe
I like what Senegal, Ivory Coast & Morocco did with the coaches they’ve had recently
Get the very best of us and support them with everything they need
Pay them what they’re giving the 3rd tier European coaches
If we can’t get Herve Renard calibre why settle for below par European coaches ?
Just use what we have & support them
Keshi is the last coach to win a trophy for us

I think it’s because the previous coach is gone
He will regret it
Just like Abraham, Tomori etc
Has Tosin Adarabioyo made his choice already ?

Kevin Akpoguma puts in a good defensive shift; helps Hoffenheim keep a clean sheet in their home Europa League victory over Dynamo Kyiv.

But have you also noticed we've not had any Nigerian blooded player win the world cup like many of the french speaking African nations. Even Ghana has Marcel Desali for France and Jerome Boateng for Germany win the world cup. I feel like with our population and our football love , it's long over due. And if we will stand a chance for this, the most likely nation to give us this glory is England. Maybe Jamal Musiala or Michael Olise can achieve this in their respective teams.
