I've done this “SAFE-BOX SKIT” before.

It's very simple..
You get lots of money (money that you have withdrawn from your bank account), and sit down put all of it inside the safe-box through the hole on top..
(It may take up to three to four hours for you to finish stuffing the safe-box with the money)

After you're done with stuffing the box with the money, then you break the safe-box in front of the camera and show the viewers the content of the box.
And the viewers will be seeing lots of money,, and believe that you saved all of the money over the short stretch of timeline which you mentioned while breaking the box.
((Which is what the skit-maker wanted the viewers to see))

After the skit, you deposit the money back into your bank account..
