felaismyhero:The leadership emerged from amongst the people, its a reflection of how the society is, their value and preferences Although there might be minority who thinks differently more progressive, the majority will still have upper hand ,if by divine grace the minority is able to break forth ,it might offer the right leadership you are talking about which might help reshape the society just like lewkwan yu did in Singapore, which was similar to Nigeria before his leadership |

Bluntemperor:Thank you for you indept understanding of Nigeria foundation. It is irratiomal for someone to think Nigeria decadency can be turned around in 10 years not to talk of 2years. Heaping blame on Tinubu will only create more division and seem as attack on the SW. Nigeria is structured to fail, it will cost so much sacrifice and dedication to revive |

Treadway:What do you expect? These are people imposed on us by the whites. The colonial masters always do their best to ensure we have the weakest and most undeserving people in power as long as those people can be used as puppets to keep Nigeria perpetually dependent on them . The colonial masters specifically selected Gowon to rule Nigeria, it's a fact. They did everything they could to work against Jonathan because he wouldn't do all their bidding. They defended Tinubu in court even though it is clear he forged the Chicago certificate. I totally see why these failed presidents would feel at home especially in the UK. They have not failed their true masters |

Zeebuy:Don't waste your energy on someone who is being paid 30k to defend Tinubu on Nairaland. His job is to defend Tinubu at all cost, so even when the truth is so obvious, they will still do otherwise. |

tundegan:Nigerians didn't force Tinubu to be president. He barely won 10 % of the electorate vote; hence, if he can't be patriotic and answer Nigeria's needs, then he should move on. He is presently doing a terrible job as president. |

Outtamymynd:The White man didn't impose Buhari, Tinubu, and Gowon on Nigerians. We did it ourselves. There was a street protest on the 1st of October, where Nigerians, playing the tribal card of the North, said they would take back Nigeria in 2027. Igbo will stay at home because the SW didn't support Peter Obi, and a Yoruba is president; hence, the SW should be patient. The poor quality of Nigeria's leadership reflects Nigeria's backward culture that has barely progressed beyond the middle-aged feudal society. The White cannot be held responsible for Nigeria's backwardness; a country that cannot generate profit from its abundant gas and oil is a country that doesn't deserve to exist. |

Hmmmmm. Well said. Spending even part of his leave in Nigeria will rebuild confidence in the security situation and tourism. The naira is weak. Spending more of our lean resources outside the country. |

Buhari was once asked by the British prime minister if he had a personal house in the UK because then he was always visiting the country |

Racoon:Bad leaders are the creation of uninformed citizens. Nigeria is the way it is because its citizens are the most docile creatures in the human race who fail to ask their leaders at all levels of government critical questions about the quality of leadership they offer vis-a-vis the resources of the people at their disposal. That is why APC government has been busy sharing rice and bread as if Nigerians are now in IDP (Internally displaced persons) camp. Like i have said, Nigerian leaders are among the few remaining leadership in Africa that have no regard for their citizens due to the docility of the those who are meant to keep the government in check. That is why Tinubu can comfortably wake up one morning and take two weeks vacation break in London, for an economy in ruins like Nigeria. He does it because Nigerians are too docile and disunited to demand good governance. Any political leader the world over including US, UK, China, Russia, South Africa, just name it, who offers good governance to his people will never have time for two weeks vacation in another country. Its not possible except in Nigeria. |

It’s ironic that during the PDP era, presidents endeavored to spend their vacations in the country. While those that claim to love their tribe & Nigeria more than the rest, cannot stand their kinsmen long enough to vacation amongst them. ![]() |

tundegan:Literally, it's like this You and your people were enslaved by another country, but your ancestors fought bravely and got you freedom You now became the leader of your people, you being the leader, instead of a white man from Britain, symbolizes and celebrate your ancestors achievement of freeing you. The last place you can go to after such celebration is your former slave masters place, but of all places in the world, this is exactly where tinubuwent to. The only meaning this action symbolizes is that, tinubu has re enslaved his people back to his former slave masters. |

Average Yoruba man likes the white man and loves to be in London or america. A few days after Tony Blair visited him, our anthem was changed. Very stupid thing to do. |

alezzy13:When a civil servant goes on leave, within and outside Nigeria, does the government foot the bills of that vacation? A president that said Nigerians should patronise local goods and services to grow the naira is vacationing abroad at government expense... does that make sense to you? A president that was talking about attracting tourists is vacationing abroad, is that normal to you? |
