Godfatherism is different from mentorship, what they call mentorship in other climes has no correlation with what we call godfatherism in Nigeria. Godfatherism in Nigeria is an avenue to perpetuate crime of corruption and stealing of the nations wealth just as it's been done in Lagos state and has nothing to do with mentorship in other climes.

You people should stop wallowing in Lagos as if na only Lagos corruption deh happen. All state governors( I don't know for Gov Alia of Benue) hands are not clean when it comes to administration of Public funds. Are other governors not also placing someone they can control to take over from them? You say this thing as if na Tinubu only deh do am. No tribe in Nigeria call a particular tribe cowards in Nigeria.

We only have a tribe that chestbeat in the morning, and cry victimization in the evening. The same tribe that would have been annihilated in the civil war if not for the Yoruba people of South West Nigeria that came to their rescue. Most people refer to the people of this tribe as the worst ingrates ever!

That was unreasonable request from Wike. As a party man should there be string before you give support to your party candidate? If everybody in the party are making request before they can support the party candidate, how many requests can they be able to fulfill. It was senseless and stupid request from Wike and that was what I said that time.
The request should have been if you win, the post of the chairman of the party must come to the south. Seeing the presidential candidate as a substantive post defeats all reasoning.
If the party has succumbed to that request and take the chairmanship position to the south, by now it would have be a serious issue to content with because there would have been agitation that the chairmanship should be returned to the north based on the arrangement of posts distribution in the party. Wike was just a sore loser and nothing less.
