Yo brothers and Sisters celebrate with me.
The Lord has been so faithful to me.
I live in Canada on study permit. My Nigeria passport will expire this yr ending 2024 and I needed to extend my study permit which expired July 2024 because I'm still studying till April 2025.
It gave me sleepless nights since last yr 2023 because you can't apply for study permit extension on a passport that has less than one yr. It was a problem that needed urgent attention. As a Christian I surrender all to God. I had to plan and do my own part and leave the rest for God. All these involves money. And at that time I was financially stranded. I needed to book for biometrics but I had no funds. So I kept huzzling from April 2023. When I checked the Nigeria immigration website, the closest date for capture was October 2023. I kept huzzling till September and then school resumed but I have still not booked for biometrics. Finally around November I got my tax refunds from Canadian government of about $6000 smiley. Then I sorted my self out for all that's was lacking. The tax refund itself is another testimony. When I booked for biometrics, the closest date was February 2024. I did everything and my passport was mailed to my house within some weeks. Next thing was to apply for study permit extension. I applied for extension around June 3rd a month to the expiry date. Then I got approval June 23rd. In all these I was pray to God to guide me because any little mistake I'm gone. Going back to Nigeria was not an option because I have nothing there. grin
So my brothers and sisters, remain steadfast in the lord.
God did it all for me. He can also do it for you.
When I came to Canada. I didn't even have #1000 in my account. I borrowed from a friend at Lagos airport. But today I'm spending millions of naira and thousands of dollars .
In all I say thank you Jesus.

One of the stupid things they do in their Pentecostal churches! Testimony time!

What is not a testimony? The fact that you are alive, breathing, eating, walking, talking, balling, nacking your wives, it is all a testimony that you can do all these things.

Your very life, your very living, is a miracle and a testimony to the glory of Almighty God.

minks:
One day in March 2022, I woke up from a terrifying vision in which I had seen the woman I was to marry. The marriage was to happen without delay.
Good news, right?
Wrong.
It was the last thing I wanted and this was not the only reason I was scared.

First, the woman God showed me was a total stranger. I had only seen her a few times and had never interacted with her. We had nothing in common or so I thought.
Moreover, my life was a mess. I was broke and couldn't take care of myself let alone someone else's dear daughter.

My earnings were barely enough to get by.
The summary of my life was this:
Name: Minke Okoi
Employment record: Underpaid manager of a medical lab.
Accommodation: A small self contain, no TV, no bed (I used my duvet as my bed).
Account balance: Zero Naira.

You're right. I was the poorest guy in the neighborhood and the last man any lady in their right senses would want to marry.
So, you see why the vision of marriage was so scary?
Anyway, when I woke up that morning, I had a meeting with myself.

I asked myself several questions I didn't have answers to.
The decision of that meeting was that there would be no marriage talk.
"That dream was the result of some malaria parasites in my bloodstream," I told myself.

One day, I mistakenly ran my mouth off to my spiritual head about the vision. She told me God had told her the same thing and was only waiting for me to hear from God too. I was shocked. She asked me to prepare for my wedding.
Again, I had a shockwave of adrenaline-induced panic.

One fateful day, I summoned the courage to approach the young lady and did the weirdest marriage proposal in history. It went like this:
Hello, my name is Minke. I am interested in marrying you but I don't have a penny to my name anywhere in the world.
That's what I said, literally.

Amazingly, she accepted. This was a bit confusing because honesty, I had hoped she'd say no but she didn't. I was both happy and sad at the same time.

I gathered all my life savings and took her home to see my parents. They seemed a lot more pleased about the whole marriage thing than I was.
That night, while the world slept blissfully, I had the most unpleasant discussion with my dad.
He asked how I was going to pull it off.
I told him I was only counting on my faith in God.
Papa gave me some good advice. He encouraged and assured me that everything was going to work out fine.
I left home a happy man.
I didn't know the trip to Ugep was the leap of faith I needed to unlock what God has for my.

We returned to Abuja and made plans to go see my girl's people and God took over from that point or rather, He showed His hand from that point.
We did the intro, trad, registry and church wedding without spending a dime of our money.
Wondering how?

Well, that's something I can't explain till date. I mean, writing about it still causes me to shiver at God's abundant love and grace to those who seek him.

People from all over the country, some that I never knew from anywhere, took up all the expenses. Someone even paid for 4 days lodging at a very expensive hotel for our honeymoon.
I saw God fitting all the pieces together, even the tiniest pieces, to perfect our wedding plans.

I thank God for my wife, Queensly. If you read this, I thank you for accepting to take that leap of faith with me. It has been a remarkable journey with you. You have motivated me to fight and win great battles side by side with you.
I wouldn't dream of a better life without you.

The summary of my story is that if God gives you a vision, run with it while trusting Him to work out the details.
God is Good. He is gracious and kind.
You didn’t say how you asked people for money for your wedding before they did all they did for you. It is testimonies like this that pushes jobless guys to go and marry and be calling people up and down for financial support

After years of depression, sadness over moving from one low paying job to another. God finally gave me a job that my earnings is 3 times what I used to earn b4. Among the candidates selected for the job, I am the only One not having any connection whatsoever with the organization . I saw the job advert on a WhatsApp group I belonged to , applied and God took over. Infact, the benefits attached to the job is more than my expectations.

Someone introduce me to Ajiyinrere online prayer every morning , vow I will have testimony too. I joined the group through WhatsApp which every Saturday u are asked to put water in a bow while the man of God blessed the water through ur phone and lot of ppl have been sharing testimonies how they over come delay, stagnation, pay debt, visa approve, sickness gone etc.

So one morning the man of God prayed into the water and said where they have stopped you, where is difficult for you to enter ,bath with the water and you will be unstoppable.use the water to wash your neck if u are in debt.

So after bathing will the water, where I always wish to enter but a particular security always stop me or whenever his around he will signal his mates to stop me which he made it difficult for me to enter
For no reasons.

After bathing with the water I went to the place but met one of the security which the wicked security ordered not to let me in, he stopped me, I felt very bad saying God u are in charge. I went back there that same day it was the wicked security I met but with fate I moved towards him immediately I saw the confusion on his face should he stopped me or not? suddenly he let me in. That was A big miracle for me. Where they have stopped me I became unstoppable.

For me, he has let me realise all these Nigerian Pastors and Daddy GO's are only in it for the money and/or p*s*u.

All to a man and woman, as fake as can be. The hottest part of hell surely awaiting them in their guise as revenue officers using Christianity and the Bible as a facade.

Bmaster:
I used my laptop borrow #250,000 from my sister last year November to pay back on December.
So during Xmas when we get to village me andy sister, and it happens that my sister wanted to dash out mother some money the day we were to come back from villa, and her bank app wasn't opening and mine was opening so she asked me to send my mother the sum of #100,000 on her behalf and I did.
I couldn't repay her the remaining #150,000 I told her to continue keeping that my laptop in her custody till I am able to repay her back the remaining #150k.
My sister agreed and because she is into communication so she put that my laptop to work by using it to do NIN stuff in her shop,so technically she has bought the laptop for 150k since it is serving her in doing her business.
So last 3 months Ago, something came up and it happens that Nimc has blocked nearly all their agents access to NIN and is requesting that any agent ready to do NIN should renew his/her license with certain amount of money, and that the agent is to get a combo device from MTN,no longer a laptop.
So after getting the combo (the device MTN uses in sim reg and welcome back)and after renewing her license my sister dumped my laptop in her shop.
So there was this one day her little kid came to her shop and wanted to play with that my laptop,so my sis took the laptop home and kept it in her wardrobe. One Sunday like that came and went to her house, and after Sunday afternoon merriment with some of our family members who equally came to her house from church, something came up.
A discussion about gadgets came up and as we were arguing between Mac book pro and other laptops, she now remembers that my laptop and went to her wardrobe and bring it out,and ask me to take it back, and I told her that I don't have her 150k to give her now,she told me to just take it,that it's of no use in her wardrobe since she ain't making use of it.
I ask her on what grounds,is it to pay back later or by installments, she said I should forget paying her back and use the 150k to help build my business.
I thanked her,and equally thanked her husband, they gave me the laptop and the charger with mouse together.
This is me receiving something huge like this for a very long time.
Hope you're not counting this one too as a miracle, as everything has now become a miracle to you guyshuh
