no matter where e Dey live for uk 12 pounds an hour is chicken change and hard living. People wey dey make 100 pounds an hour Dey cry about hardship talk less of 12 an hour.
hardship is relative, what i consider i don hammer is what is left in someone account and he/she falls into depression

Your assertions depict you dont even understand the scope & essence of minimum wage .. if minimum wage is £12 per hour, someone earning £100 per cant suffer except he is living an extravagant life.
the last time i was video calling a babe naa £26 she carry go store bags full, infact na africa food/stores expensive ..

One thing i love so much about oyinbo life, whatever you're earning, there is a package to suite your coat, and you are in full control of income useage.
normal if you do pass yourself o nii lati cry smiley

Please analyze the spending for us. Let's see if you actually know what you are saying
As I wrote, I know countless numbers of guys doing security and they make at least 2000pounds after 20% tax deduction.

Rent 700 Quid and this is a decent room in a shared apartment and all bills included meaning electricity, gas, water, WiFi, council tax and so on.

300 Quid for feeding meaning you will eat very well and this is even too much if you cook.

200 for transportation if you go out everyday and take trains reasonably.

100 pounds for miscellaneous

15 pounds for phone Internet.

You will still have about 600 pounds savings.

Now if you decide to marry a lady you need to combine resources cos UK economy is no built for one person to carry the load of two people.

Anybody making 100 pounds per hour and crying about hardship should go and beg his or her village people.

Even with 12 pounds per hour, you will live large if you no do pass yourself.

Does train gives u sponsorship? Before i scale through to top experienced position that could guarantee u sponsorship time has gone.

So what i should be looking at is job that guarantees sponsorship anythings than that i will remain here. After all i could earn what most government workers earn in a month amd could by far earn what nurses are earning as a mayguard
Most nurses earn 1800 but there are months i work back to back to earn 3000.
That I can't tell.
Most nurses earn 1800.
How did you know that?

You can get apply for extension as you look for sponsorship.
Uou can look into care jobs too. Some got sponsorship through that.

It's dicey and I do feel for you as I have quite a number of people I know that's in your situation.

I know it's not easy but don't blame the system instead look for what the system needs and look for ways to meet the demand.
There is still very high demand in health care.
Secondly, we look down on some handiwork yet they pay more than cert eg mechanic work, driver especially taxi. The Nigerian pride will not allow us do taxi job or mechanic. What will I tell home people. I have interviewed these people and honestly, if I had a choice now, I will forget my cert and become a driver. What of rail driver. Do you know that they take home more than band 8 nurse in some units and how many years will it take one to reach band 8? You may never reach 7 not to talk of 8.
Nursing is one of the least paid jobs in uk but readily available. Don't forget that blacks lose their pins for flimsy reasons more than any race every year.

Most time when I come across new immigrants, I usually lecture and advice them cos when uou miss it, it will take time for you to navigate back again and start afresh.
My wife is a nurse and with the NHS. I am the student.. Just graduated and will pursue my career via graduate jobs.

But for now am on this job. U can't tell new immigrants to take up taxi. First they have to learn how to drive if they dont. I guess they must have some years in experience like minimum of 3 years i guess. Lastly they might not have build the credit score to purchase a car because uber here takes recent models of car.

Are you for real.
Fuel
Rent
Water
Business
Job
Farm

Can you compare these to u.k's own!
diamond68:
brother forget that thing oooo, you see grumbling and complaining is now an Olympic sport in Nigeria but when it’s time to eat you will see mr poor man eat 6 wraps of eba with 4 meat and 2 boiled egg. Don’t be deceived by peoples wailing it’s just something they love doing but truth is the average Nigerian is living well, it is when they japa and see real hardship in England that they start to long to return back home. It’s whe you travel out you will know you are enjoying in naija.

Am sure you are less than a year abroad. That’s how it freaks you when you just arrive, but after like 5 years, you will understand the Oyinbos did not make their country for you to have enough to send home, but they only made it for you as a foreigner to work, pay bills and have little or nothing to safe. And if you try to beat the system by doing two 8hrs jobs daily, it will tell on your body sooner.

If you’re scouting or sharing apartment with someone and you don’t pay much rent, no utility bills or car insurance, then lucky you. Safe as much as you can because once you start doing those stuff fully on your own, you’ll know whatz up.

Abroad is abroad and Nigeria is Nigeria. Though, obviously abroad especially Western world are far better than Nigeria, but sometimes the way you guys garnish it make it looks like heaven in this world and main while they are not. Many are mislead before leaving Nigeria with sweet stories from people abroad but when they get there and see the reality on ground, they are shocked and it takes many of them years to adapt based on their expectations.
You can't compare European countries to Nigeria.
The leadership failed everyone and people vote based on tribe and heap insult on the losing tribe.

Everyone just mean and tribalism is just everywhere..so i had to step out and explore

Am sure he didn't pay the sch fee once.
I think there's a deposit that is needed for your cas issuance maybe £4000 minimum or so

Then when you arrive you gas pay up to some certain percentage maybe 50% of the total fee, then I think balance up at the commencement of your second academic calendar.

So that's where people have issues, most people just struggle to get £4000 paid, so when they arrive there's this pressure from the sch to pay in some more percent of the sch fee.

So without a job, you'd be frustrated meeting up

Those fishes are quite expensive for £12. A pack of 4 (even bigger) costs £3.99. So that shouldn’t cost more than £8

Some of my colleagues drive 2023 tesla and benz. It's all about the good life bro.

£2400 is enuf for u to live outside London as a family. Ur wife's salary can even cover house rent, food and all other bills while u save urs.
Read again dude to understand. You freaking work 60 hours a week? Damn. Thats 10 hours a day for 6 days. Or 12 hours a day for 5 days. You never add transport time to and from?
That's my point abraod dey very hard dude...no be moi moi...
The hardwork and tress is way way more, than nigeria. The only difference is, you are rewarded.
But I will tell you this for free, high paying job in the US will give one, your weekly wage in just 3 hours....then it also takes years to build on this kind of careers.
