Don't let anyone discourage you at all. If I tell you even my recent experience after having to quit my career due to health problems— fortunately I am almost 100% well at this point—, nothing will make you want to settle for Nigeria no matter what. grin

Do you really think your Nigerian education alone carries tremendous value past your Nigerian border? Even the companies in Nigeria balk at hiring Nigerian graduates but here you are pretending it should be worth more than its actual value. huh
Abeg if you want to go abroad and pack cowshit so that you can be posting pictures of yourself wearing cheap jackets on x go ahead

No be people dey pack cow shit, and blood, boil am sell for Nigeria? I know an Agricultural Science graduate doing exactly that in Lagos State. He was featured in a video on BBC not too long ago. So what are you here rambling abeg? undecided

2. Many of those who drive keke moped in Nigeria are university graduates who were not able to get jobs elsewhere in Nigeria. I recall watching videos of a crayfish seller who was in fact a college Graduate, and the same applies to many who work as mechanics in Nigeria. The graduate degree they have is not worth a lot in Nigeria. So, why in the world are you attempting to argue it should be worth so much more elsewhere? Are you alright in the head at all? undecided

Experienced advice.
One of my nieces told my mum that she is taking care of mentally deranged people in London (Care Job ;Dso to speak), mama shouted say upon all the better job in London, it is only wo-werey job that you can do.
Meanwhile, the lady is okay with personal house in London and Nigeria
But am sure if your aunty sends some "wo-werey"pounds sterling to your mum she won't reject it.. grin

As small as a cold room company here in America or a pure water like company all Have what we call career choice programs where the company can pay for your school as a full time staff, either in same field or another field and move to management level or go somewhere else

As big as chicken republic them no fit offer career choice program to their employees not to talk of dangote or Jumia

That the difference between working abroad and working in Nigeria

De there zuo de go

Glimpsetv:
A Nigerian man has taken to his TikTok account to advise fellow Nigerians moving abroad about certain jobs they should avoid or approach with caution.

Speaking from what appears to be personal experience, he mentioned workplaces like cold rooms and other jobs, explaining why it’s not advisable to take up such roles. Watch the video, share your thoughts in the comments.

Did someone say washing plates? With their hands? That's a lie! Most food outlets and hotels has dishwasher. No one washes plates with their hands in Hotes in Europe you wanna contaminate the plates with the bacteria on your hands? undecided unless your own Europe is in Kosovo or Albania.
Re: Avoid These 5 Jobs Abroad: Man Advises Fellow Nigerians(photos/video) by Cousin9999:
These are all honest work, and no one should run from any of these jobs -- except the chemical position and working with certain machines. Why? It's a safety issue, and despite it being a developed country, not every company takes care of its employees and ensures they follow the right safety procedures and wear PPE.

That said:
1.) Cold room - Everyone cannot handle this, but it could be good money for those who can. You will likely get paid more for working in that environment. Just get good gear, like thermal layers, hand warmers, heavy fleece, parka. Also, exercise. It helps your body handle the cold better.

2.) Chemical production - This is pretty dangerous, even when following safety procedures. But again, some people are okay with this, and you generally get paid more for the risk. Honestly, I wouldn't do it.

3.) Overnight shift - First of all, some people do night shift for decades. It's not exactly the healthiest option, but some people are natural night owls and it works for them. Night shift can be a gift because you may not have much to do at that time, and there may not be many people or bosses around. So, you can pretty much chill a lot of the time, or get some studying done. Some people sleep, but that's not wise. Some people think that if you work 3rd shift, you sleep all day. Not true. You can definitely get proper rest and still have time and energy to run errands and even go to another job.

4.) High-speed robot machines - This can be dangerous depending on how the company operates and what their expectations are. I wouldn't risk it personally.

5.) Dishwasher - The problems with this are pay, how messy things can get, and frankly, the losers you might work with. Definitely be careful and wear good work gear (protect against slip and fall). And be aware that you may be working with losers from Central America and/or ex-cons. If you can find a gig in some local mom and pop in a town or small city, it should be an easy breezy job, but it won't pay much of anything. However, this job can be a good way to get into a good organization like a hospital or university. Those places prefer hiring from within, so you can ease into a far better position when you get training, complete studies, or get your qualifications evaluated.

OK, stop right there! These same jobs exist right there in Nigeria for those of you not aware of this. Are you somehow insinuating that working in a chemical plant in Nigeria is a lot safer than working in a chemical plant or drug company in a developed country? In most developed countries there are safety gears and protocols followed to ensure the safety of workers in these industries; gears and protocols are regularly updated. Benefits are provided to workers and compensation is also awarded in the case of work-related damages to their health. Can you say the same of the same work in Nigeria? undecided

discusant:
It's same for too many Nigerians who don't look at the bigger picture of the phenomenon of jappa.
More than ever, too many, if not most, of the keke drivers and doers of menial jobs in the south of Nigeria are people from the sharia states of northern Nigeria. They occupy the space left by Southern Nigerians who fled Nigeria. Unarguably, people from the south make little contribution to who rules where in Nigeria's political process. Who expects the new rulers to make Nigeria comfortable for those Nigerians who left the country to return? If the trend continues for another 10 to 20 years, the RUGA which some Nigerian groups refused must have been effected. It's simple.
.
There is sense in this prediction. May we help ourselves o. These Hau' & Fulafula people hardly embark on japa journeys.
