The more I think of this the more I consider it was never the men of God fault. It's is the followers. I was born and dedicated into a Christian home. By now I ought to know God by heart if am a dedicated servant and love him by heart. How can you be a man and a Christian since birth and someone teach you those and you don't know it's a lie. That's your fault for being so ignorant. I don't need their apologies on that. I never believe it to start with. Does that mean he is most a lier. I don't think so. I think it makes him a man. That's all. Hello get some wrong and so e right. Sometimes his pride and ego kicks in, sometimes the need to be compulsive correct or ego dominating driven. I don't know but he is a man.
.you worry about yourself and know God for yourself. Life is like that. I say it this way because people are drawing from this now to suggest that religion as a whole us a scam. People too should learn to take some responsibility on this. If there a rampant miracle preachers it means there a people in desperate need of that kind of message. If you open church now to teach mainly salvation it will be scanty and people will fall asleep during sermon. So in a sense let the preach have their way with them. God was never a money doubler. But that's what people want God to be so they press on till preacher emerge for the that way affirming their believe. It takes two to tangle. For someone to scam you something about you has to be gullible already or has an openness towards form of exaggerated truth .

Smiles. First and foremost, you must understand that everyone isn't at your level.
That means every Christian out there are not "grown ups" in Christ. So you can't expect them to know what you already know.
Millions out there are ignorant of the truth. Some as a result of illeteracy, some because they do have the foundation you have.

So don't go on blaming the victim(saying they ought to be wiser), blame the perpetrators of the false teachings.

Every so called "preacher of the gospel" or acclaimed "men of God" out there is not neccesarily of God or of Christ. Irrespective of so called signs and wonders you see. irrespective of the size of the "church" , irrespective of the glamour and big edifies

I know these points I am making is very hard to swallow for many. But in the end we shall all understand.

Just know this. The devil is very much at work. He is not resting. So don't be carried away.

Yes, you are right about the fact that it takes 2 to tangle. However the bible already warned u of these preachers of false gospels. And that they will deceive many.

It is our responsibility to call them out and expose them for who they are, so that at least a few people's eyes can be opened at every point we speak out.

We can blame the one that is being robbed, while sparing the armed robbers.

1. Ayo Oritsejiafor BN(former PFN/CAN president): "if you don't pay tithes you will die quickly". (Note: This was the same man whose private jet was impounded by the South African government during the Jonathan government for money laundering).

3. David Oyedepo: "Job's riches weren't secured because he didn't pay tithes". (Ironically the same Oyedepo later started blowing hot about suffering losses of millions of Naira of his church money being stolen by some of his highly placed church officials).

4. David Ibiyeomie: "Adam didn't eat any apple. He ate his tithe".

5. U.O Miracle: "If you eat your tithes, you'll die poor as Lazarus".

6. Unknown: "Jesus died poor because He didn't tithe".

7. Pastor Adeboye: "anyone who doesn't pay tithes won't make heaven". (He's since apologized for this heretic teaching though)

8. Pastor Adeboye: "Jesus was not a parish pastor. He was a world evangelist", as to why "Jesus didn't collect tithes". (Expecting an apology for this one very soon)

We in Benin are mostly traditional and part islam, the iboz are Catholics .

This Christians scammers are mostly pentecostal southwest pastors

I see your point and I am one of the biggest critics of men of God. At one point even my heart was filled with a daddy freeze kind of hate for them. I had to let go to free myself.

That said if a bank try their best to prevent scammers, they also give you tips on how you too should prevent it from your end. By not giving out certain informations easy. It's a better approach top down. Jesus spoke about the scribes and pharisee in his day Nd till this day it's still here it's not new. We just waking up to that consciousness. Jesus also educated us on our part how to know God for ourselves. It's a two part approach. Playing victims does not help and being an illiterate is not a strong defence either. I can tell you many ghetto street boys don't fall for this nonsense because street sense also exists away from education. So it's not a level eduction thing it's a common sense. Thing. Someone will always try to scam you in this world, businessman, politician pastors e.t.c. people will not always be there to fight for you. Learn to defend yourself. One way or the other.

Our people say if mama go outside go fight for pikin, him too go come huz come draw that pikin ear. Say there is something you too de do weh make people de always wan beat you. Some of this people are naturally greedy and desperate. It's why it's easy to sell them this garbage.

Am with you on calling them out 100%. Am also saying going to the other side and draw those members ear too. Because they are the once hurting most. Some are just plain greedy and desperate thereby opening themselves up.

Sorry but call this men out all you want they will never change because it's a business to them. They are the once gaining. You can stop the bleeding easy from the side of the once feeling the pain that's my opinion. Jesus Christ called out the pharisee or false teachers if his time . Up till now they are still here in different guise.
