I do not like to stray too far with religious argument. Because I was warned by Paul in Timothy1_ 4. About devoting oneself to endless genealogies. There are those Paul suggest who wants to be seen as teachers. So they engage in debates. The emphasis here before we stray was the wrong teaching of the pastors which I think you and I was on the same page in condemning. The other openings was the side of the people. 1. This is nothing of my take but what is instead written in plain text right there in the Gospels. The disciples were of the same lineage explaining why Jesus Christ chose them.
