SA , cant be trusted ...Bafana Bafana's inconsistency is staggering! Their performance chart resembles a sinusoidal wave - unpredictable ups and downs, i wouldn't be surprise if Congo beats them in the 2nd leg ...

Ademola Lookman has been announced as Atalanta's POTM of September.

Well deserved 👏.
This is good.
We have insane quality, especially in the final third

Our players keep putting up top performances.

i.e to say Fisayo is more of an attacking midfielder/support striker who can as well play as a b2b midfielder while Iwobi is better as a Deep lying playmaker(DLP).
Super eages only need 2 blockking Dm's and leave Iwobi to dance around , also dribblers in both wings ... the match against Libya look so easy if they come up with the same game plan against us

These guy needs a better technique coach
Which can improve his productivity because all these talks about dribbling na for him pocket only stats that matters is G/A nothing else

Make we stop to they hype the man abeg so he fit increase his productivity

Or we have a 5 star ⭐️ dribbler on our hands and we’re ok with him just dribbling wtf 🤬

Bro should learn synergy with his teammates and become either an assist merchant let top 9 have the finishing touch

Or be a cut in and strike like robben

Wtf is dribbling compared to the talent he has at his disposal his productivity is very very very very poor
And that’s the truth

In an ideal setting against Libya's low block defence which will be on show again, Egu should go with a midfield 3 of Onyedika-Iwobi-FDB to ensure smoother and efficient ball progression from the back into the final third.

Onyeka "The Tank" and Ndidi "the octopus" are midfield generals in this team but for the sake of the low block opposition, they would have to start from the bench in my ideal setting for this game alone.

All the same, we await Egu and the crew's picks.
I will be surprised if AE sits Ndidi in the name of experience grin

I'm sorry Iwobi don't have it. So he can't dance around. Only to pass finish. no take ons. No 1 vs 1 and can't shoot

People who think Libya will come out to play on Tuesday are joking 😂
In football there are three sets of people
1. Want to win you by all means, score attack and all
2. Hope to win you wants to score, or at least get a draw
3. Don't want to win you, don't want you to win them, don't want to score, don't want you to score, don't want to play, don't want you to play. This team just want to pull you down... Collect one point that's all ( this one's na devil, avoid them😂).

Libya belongs to number 3.
Those people know deep down they have to chance of qualifying for afcon, so winning is not on there mind....
On Tuesday we would see ultra defensive football... Coach sef fit enter field dey defend
At uyo it was 8 defenders at Tripoli it would be 10

With double the ratio of whatever time they wasted in uyo....
It's up to AE to figure how to break them down..

The fact that Alex is our 10 makes me question our coaches a player that hasn’t played the number 10 role since he left the academy it’s just 😆 funny o

Alex is not him, the flair, the eye for a pass, and the from time screamer doesn’t come from him

The fact that our coaches aren’t breeding any number just shows they wanna keep this core group tiger and are afraid to experiment

Respect to Troost Ekong for proving many of us wrong at latter stages of his career.

Yes local coach(Sunday Oliseh) didn’t rated him but you forgot that Stephen Keshi gave him his cap and Samson Siasia picked him as starter in Olympics bronze winning team,so local coaches gave him that needed opportunity and trust.

Initially Ekong was poor in some areas that limited his abilities as a defender but he later grew in confidence, his performance in Afcon 2024 was a masterclass and crowned it as best player.

I remembered Finidi had 6 foreign borns as starters….Osayi,Moffi,Semi,Calvin,Lookman and Iwobi so what are you really saying regarding relationships between local coaches and FB.
Yeah. As for Fini, he inherited that team sha.

Sadly, the history will be remembered that way for that man. Kudos once again to SK for Trusting Troost.

Whenever Iwobi misses one shot on target all these talks surfaces, go and re-watch that match against Libya almost all our good chances he was involved in one way or another, maybe when you judge him as an AM and a creator rather than a CF and a finisher you will appreciate him more

Funnily their last game saw Brazilian based players score their two goals in the 2-1 win away at Chile. Well, las las they will settle for a mix but Brazil needs her best talents. I understand why the president thinks this anyway. Recent results haven't been encouraging and it is believed Brazil doesn't "feel" Brazil anymore.

This is what happens when you don't invest in your local league. North African dominance of the continental cups have given them bragging rights at the table. South Africa is the only sub Sahara nation that can flex some financial and influential strength due to their league's success and vast resources.

I'm sure they deliberately ruined the travel arrangements made for them in Nigeria so as to make it look like they were maltreated here so as to find an excuse to do same to our players in their country..

Based on reports, the team plane was headed to Benghazi, the venue of the match, when the flight was rerouted to another city where they will have to travel about 3 hours by road to Benghazi...

You dey mind the guy? I don't know when Iwobi became a centre-forward. If our strikers were clinical, Iwobi easily had two to three assists in that game. The fact that Iwobi was constantly found in the CF position shows how poor our strikers were that day.

Osimhen no go dey make e be Iwobi na him go dey nod ball for 18 yard box. Make everybody free Iwobi abeg, he's not the cause of Nigeria's problems.

Per the Libya Observer, seems like the Super Eagles have now been cleared and issued visas to enter Libya, however there are no buses to transport the team down to Benghazi where the #AFCONQ2025 match will be played.

The loss to Italy in 1982 seriously affected their football mentality. The pain from that loss forced them to adopt a pragmatic style that has diminished the beauty and ethos of Samba football.

Yes they won the 1994 and 2002 WC but their performances in both tournaments save for a few flashes was so boring that we hardly remember them other than the fact that they won it.
2002 Brazil and boring in the same sentence?
