Czechoslovakia Czechoslovakia was a sovereign state in Central Europe that existed from October 1918, until its peaceful dissolution on 1 January 1993. The Federal Assembly of Czechoslovakia on 13 November 1993, passed Constitution Act 541 which settled the division of property between the Czech lands and Slovakia. With Constitution Act 542, passed on 25 November, they agreed to the peaceful dissolution of Czechoslovakia into the Slovak Republic and Czech Republic as of 31 December 1992. The separation occurred without violence and is known as the Velvet Divorce. 3. Liberia The Republic of Liberia began as a settlement of former African slaves from the United States. On July 26, 1847, the settlers issued a Declaration of Independence and promulgated a constitution establishing the independent Republic of Liberia. Dissolution of United Kingdoms of Sweden and Norway, 1905 United Kingdoms of Sweden and Norway was a personal union of the separate kingdoms of Sweden and Norway under the House of Bernadotte. The union lasted from 1814 until its dissolution in 1905. The dissolution of the union was set in motion by a resolution of the Norwegian Parliament on 7 June 1905. A plebiscite on dissolving the union with Sweden was held in Norway on 13 August 1905. It was approved by 99.95% of voters. On 31 August, delegates from Norway and Sweden met in Karlstad to negotiate the terms and conditions of the dissolution. The talks ended on 23 September. Softmirror:I am in support of break up of Nigeria if the people do not want to be one country as we see everyday and continues to get worse by the day |

aariwa:Sincerely speaking it won't make any difference if Nigeria splits. That is my own personal opinion. Infact things will very much get worse. All of this agitation is just our Nigerian nature of greed, and self centeredness which some people will also exhibit after a breakaway to also breakaway from a breakaway in quest of their own selfish lust for power. The Yoruba nation to me is just a fantasy, it can't work. I only like they way these Yorubas are going about it. Our major problem is DISHONESTY. Things don't work where majority of the people are not HONEST. |

such nonsense all these men that crave power are misleading people ekpa want a forced rule this one too same thing leave it to the yorubas to be tribalistic and easily manipulated he promised an economy based on agriculture when Nigeria depends on the south south for their oil which is the nations GDP... yet you want the south east and the south to leave the north and west ok continue in your stupidity FYI if the civilwar the yorubas are pushing for happen the sponsors would flee ASAP while the mugus would be there to suffer because I am not sure the SOUTH EAST AND SOUTH SOUTH would take nonsense like they did in the previous wars even here in Kano we see they way they take charge and not saying its forceful charge but as far as am concerned we need each other. with all the tribalism and bigotry see whom we have as presidents and vice presidents we are suffering and to be honest its only we the Hausa and Yoruba that are really suffering because what we expected based on religious and cultural preferences has put us into ruin I can no longer afford to run diesel engine for 9 to 12 hours like I used to if we as Nigerians cant stop being gullible there would be another term of inflation and suffering with our cries falling on old deaf ears |

Softmirror:Your problem is Stockholm syndrome. What is great about Nigeria that you refuse to try something different? Why Are you so shy & cowardly to try a new path? You don't even know anything and you rush to say yoruba nation will not work? Are you that weak and illiterate? Or dint you learn prior to independence the relevant regions were successful & developing at their pace. Didn't USSR, Czechoslovakia, serbia&montenegro Irelans/Norther-Ireland, Korea break up and performing way better than Nigeria? Are you aware that the entire population of western Europe is not up to the population of Nigeria? Stop wasting the little education your parents struggled so hard to give you |
