Sincerely speaking it won't make any difference if Nigeria splits. That is my own personal opinion. Infact things will very much get worse. All of this agitation is just our Nigerian nature of greed, and self centeredness which some people will also exhibit after a breakaway to also breakaway from a breakaway in quest of their own selfish lust for power.

The Yoruba nation to me is just a fantasy, it can't work. I only like they way these Yorubas are going about it.

Our major problem is DISHONESTY. Things don't work where majority of the people are not HONEST.
Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you. You're one of the few that sees the problem of a dissolution in Nigeria. It would lead to further dissociation and breakdown of the minimal order we even have.

Chaos and anarchy would reign.

Now that the Yoruba nation agitation have re-echoed again and North quest for independent state have started gaining momentum, let's see those who blame Nnamdi Kanu.
Nnamdi Kanu expressed stupidity when he began to abuse everybody and lost focus on his struggle.
Have you ever heard Igboho abusing anyone?
I support his Biafra nation but not his methods. He has not done anything more than Igboho or Asari Dokubo.

You perfectly described the average Yoruba of Nigeriaquote author=Nonexisting post=132413315]This confused mugu. Today he is fighting for yoruba independence, tomorrow he is calling for people to support T-pain. When he is Nigeria, he sings like a typical Ronu and whenever he sees himself abroad, he sings a new song. Cowardice and "neither here nor there syndrome" are in their DNA.[/quote]

Where are the Ronus? Where are the Yoruba gate keepers? Where are the go and protest in your region fellows?

This is a yoruba man protesting in another man's Country. It is not a region in Nigeria, but another man's Country.

Just take some seconds to think about this; If another tribe try this in Lagos (not just the Igbos) what will be the topic of discussion by now? Plenty answers that need plenty response.

Bayo Onanuga and his media recruits would have gone haywire by now.

Bunch of hypocrites

Londoners go don tire for Nigeria matter. A country with huge potentials but tottering like a giant who's drunk.

In Nigerians have brains and have not been bewitched by the APC, tbey would have chased the Buccaneers who have stolen the ship of state and sailed into a wrong direction away.

Kanu will rot in jail..!

Sunday igboho wound is already healed, right? If you allow praise of people to push you into another problem with Nigeria, I will not even pity you for 1 minute. The last time you looked at your back, human being abandoned you with your problem, now; come here, come there has started again. You better stop deceiving yourself, nobody sends you this; of you are caught again and your charms fail you again, you are on your own
That's your opinion, though.

Nigeria isn't working and retrogressing every passing day, even countries like Benin, Togo and Ivory coast are making great strides while we are not, visit those countries and see for yourself.

Useless nation. But why is he free and Nnamdi Kanu is still held
You will get your answer the day igboho will float a radio station inciting people from his tribe to kill other Nigerians and destroy the properties of people from other tribes and federal Government properties. Wait until igboho form his own security network and encourage violence then you will see the feds in action. All his actions are peaceful as at now but wait until he gets violence like Kanu.

Good step in the right direction from Igboho . From Uwazuruike to Kanu , Ekpa etc none had ever approached United Nations or EU or Britain or US or their congresses with a formal application for Biafra except resort to violence and blood letting makes you wonder whether these men are really serious about Biafran secession/ sovereignty or playing on emotions of ordinary people that want Biafra to siphon their monies
Come do you have sense at all? Do you think an independence occurs without strife or a referendum? Where in the world do you think Britain will interfere in the secession demands of an ethnic group in another sovereign country?

Once again you don't have sense. Independence is achieved either through confrontation or referendum. Taking your demands to downing street is just foolishness and stupidity because Britain can never interfere in the affairs of another sovereign country. NK and other have shouted referendum since ever before the FG sponsored false flag attacks in the east.

The have gone as far as having a registered political party called Yoruba Party for the same purpose.
Yoruba party in UK how did it impact Nigeria and South West? The party doesn't have any impact in Nigeria, they even contested for seats in UK? So there is no impact in Nigeria. Why didn't they form the party in Nigeria so that we can take them serious?

Republic of Belarus (25-08-1991)
Republic of Uzbekistan (31-08-1991)

Georgia (09-04-1991)

2. Czechoslovakia

Czechoslovakia was a sovereign state in Central Europe that existed from October 1918, until its peaceful dissolution on 1 January 1993. The Federal Assembly of Czechoslovakia on 13 November 1993, passed Constitution Act 541 which settled the division of property between the Czech lands and Slovakia. With Constitution Act 542, passed on 25 November, they agreed to the peaceful dissolution of Czechoslovakia into the Slovak Republic and Czech Republic as of 31 December 1992. The separation occurred without violence and is known as the Velvet Divorce.

3. Liberia

The Republic of Liberia began as a settlement of former African slaves from the United States. On July 26, 1847, the settlers issued a Declaration of Independence and promulgated a constitution establishing the independent Republic of Liberia. Liberia is the only African republic to have self-proclaimed independence without gaining independence through revolt from any other power, and is Africa's first and oldest modern republic.

4. Dissolution of United Kingdoms of Sweden and Norway, 1905

United Kingdoms of Sweden and Norway was a personal union of the separate kingdoms of Sweden and Norway under the House of Bernadotte. The union lasted from 1814 until its dissolution in 1905. The dissolution of the union was set in motion by a resolution of the Norwegian Parliament on 7 June 1905. A plebiscite on dissolving the union with Sweden was held in Norway on 13 August 1905. It was approved by 99.95% of voters.

On 31 August, delegates from Norway and Sweden met in Karlstad to negotiate the terms and conditions of the dissolution. The talks ended on 23 September. On 9 October, the Norwegian parliament voted to accept the terms of the dissolution; while the Swedish parliament followed suit on 13 October. Norway considered the union with Sweden ended as of 7 June, while Sweden formally recognized Norwegian independence on 26 October

5. Singapore Independence from Malaysia

Malaysia was formed on 16 September 1963 when the Federation of Malaya merged with former British colonies of North Borneo, Sarawak and Singapore. Singapore was one of the states of Malaysia from 1963 to 1965. There were ideological differences and mutual distrust between the federal government of Malaysia and leaders of the State of Singapore leading to disputes and making the union unstable.

On 7 August 1965, Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman, seeing no alternative to the discord, advised the Parliament of Malaysia that it should vote to expel Singapore from Malaysia. The Parliament voted to expel Singapore from the Federation leading to the independence of Singapore on 9 August 1965.

6. Brexit (In Progress)

The withdrawal of United Kingdom from the European Union (EU) was set in motion by a referendum held on 23 June 2016. 52% of the voters voted to leave the EU. On 29 March 2017, the British government invoked Article 50 of the Treaty on the European Union, putting the UK on course to leave the EU in March 2019.
Bro if you had small sense you will see that the separation was agreed within and not by senijd g requests to Britain another country to intervene.
