typicalgamer:S.E as a team has better strikers than any club Ejuke has ever played for.. Ejuke will thrive in the current S.E. Move iwobi to CM. Let Lookman play SS/AM behind Boniface. Put Simon on LW Put Ejuke on RW. Or even though it won't be wise... bench Lookman and let Chukwueze play SS/AM Chukwueze is more creative than iwobi for the S.E. havinng Simon, Chukwueze, Ejuke and Iwobi on the pitch can favor the S.E |

Omo the way the Lybians treated our Super Eagles, I can only wonder how the match would be like on Tuesday. The atmosphere will be very hostile from the fans and there would be bias officiating definitely. Our boys need to channel this anger on the pitch and score them like three in the first half alone. Some Lybian fans are already saying they'll win the game 2–0 one way or the other. I wan see how dem wan do am. Bloody North Africans. |

BankyGee:It's possible they wins. You and I just woke up from our comfortable bed. Meanwhile, the boys have been without sleep for 10 hours (and still counting) now. Body no be firewood. |

These people should start carrying beds to North Africa, just assume that there would be zero reception when going there, these people are just racist animals |

It will be a serious indictment on the NFF if Nigeria goes ahead with this match. I'll rather we lose the 3 points than play this game. This nonsense will only continue should we concede. Since CAF has refused to put the north Africans in check, refuse to play them. They should cite safety of the players as reason. In no world should this game continue. |

Does this story from the NFF's side on Libya's claims of maltreatment while in Nigeria make sense to you? Hmmmm....

Subzerooo:Baba, they were locked inside the airport. The pilots who weren't locked in with them couldn't even get hotel accomodation reportedly. The only member of the crew who could get accommodation was the Tunisian. |

Subzerooo:The problem is that the NFF won't even bother to write a complaint to Caf and FIFA. They will see and take whatever is happening now as an act of God. Except I'm mistaking, Nigeria also have a high commission in Libya, what's the Nigeria embassy in Libya doing about this and why would they abandoned and allows our boys to be going through all of these under their nose? If I were the NFF Chairman, I will return the boys home, abandon the match in protest and write a complaint to both caf and FIFA |

minfelix:Football ⚽ has moved on and you are stuck in the 1990's. Wingers are becoming more or less an obsolete terminology in today's football ⚽. We talk of forward players coming from the left or right and it inverted wingers. Salah, Saka, Diaz, Martinelli, Rashford, Garnacho, Nico Williams, Lamine Yamal are predominantly coming in from the wings 💸 but nobody would call them just wingers. Indeed these players are the top goal scorer in their clubs |

Surely this game should not happen with the delays and cannibalic treatments but it would interest us to know that a Libyan media outlet on Facebook (in english) projected exactly what will happen as "revenge" and it is all playing out now...

TheSuperNerd:The incompetence of the NFF isn't exactly new to us. Our players have also been at the receiving end of this. I remember the case of the Super Falcons spending hours at the Airport due to negligence on the NFF side. However, what you can't accuse the NFF of is malice. We are not known to intentionally frustrate out hosts in a bid to better position ourselves for a football game. We just do not do that. Our visitors typically and historically do not have this problem. I however think the NFF should fire someone (not like they would) cause this is the second time this is happening. If I remember correctly they had this same "plans not communicated" excuse with South Africa too. Libya however has taken this too far. |

Ekong has declared that the SE won't play the match under the present conditions. I learnt NFF are already making plans to fly the players back home
