Mujtahida:Partially you're right but I hope you know that Libyans hated Ghaddafi to the core? Even till date. Yes he was a true pan-african but not a good nationalist. Most pan-african leaders end up loved by other countries and hated in their own country. Thabo Mbeki, Kenyatta and to a lesser extent Obasanjo all suffered the same fate as well. Ghaddafi bleeped up when he became too pan-african and aloof to his own country. When the Arab spring caught up with him, he tried to brutally crack down on it, which failed because NATO started backing the uprising that eventually killed him. Point is, his own people killed him because he became more of a globalist than an actual leader. Forget all these crap about one Africa and all that, Africans generally are very tribal and nationalistic people. |

I would be awaiting his statement, my dear Haram Route 1 Coach Elyte. The Libyans' haram cannot match up in class to your haram. Right now, I look forward to hearing the team has touched down safely. It is well. elyte89: |

Kog45:Egbon all those players you mention dem no be butty o, they endured harder times and things for this country, remember their fortunes and livelihood were more tied to the national team than this generation that won't be bothered much if they don't play for the country. That allowee dem na the koko o, it's much later players like Oliseh and co after many years in Europe that made them more comfortable. A generation that cut their tracksuit trousers into shorts to play. Those men different o. |

The Libyan hate on Ghadaffi from within was also American-fueled but this is all I will say on it. I wish not to discuss further to avoid digression. JohnBullMySon: |

Goke7:Pls go and read about Stephen Keshi….Keshi single-handedly sacked very strong Alex Akinyemi as Sports minister….cutting tracksuits was to safe the country from CAF hammer, not that they are lily livery. |

Make I borrow Libya small sense, they messed up by delaying the players at the airport. All they needed to do to collect whatever revenge was not to delay the boys at the airport, First they already had that isakaba bus already, make sure the seats are not even enough make the eagles lap themselves and take them to a yeye hotel, then off light by midnight make the boys sweat small, then carry them go yeye pitch to train and to play the match. The idea is simple, once the players are already in the country they have no choice but to play the match but once you held them at the airport you gave intelligent and oyinbo folks like Ekong to shout hostage situation and no European club will never want to hear that their player is being held unecessary against their will. Libya no get sense. Better luck next time. phew |

Goke7:Leave all this. So when they finished the match in uyo did their plane pick them from uyo port or they still traveled back to ph. if they traveled back to ph and under what circumstances, was there proper security and logistics. It's a case of do me I do you. But they underestimated the power of Nigerian cry. For a country that has been plagued with many years of civil war, whatever goal they have for international acceptance as a peaceful and progressive society have been scruffled by Nigeria's social media power |

typicalgamer:He became Europe's top dribbler playing for Sevilla. And he is their most creative outlet. Don't ever think he is not productive. Don't let a poor study determine your conclusions. He should have had three goal by now, I saw those goals. I have also seen his shooting. His goal chances creation is not poor. I have seen his team. And I know the quality that surrounds him at present. Don't let a poor study determine what you make of him. He has always been a fantastic dribbler, but became Europe's best, playing for Sevilla. Improve the quality around him and see him shine the more, football is team sports. And finally... Don't think that his branding as highly technical has got only to do with his dribbling skills. His shooting, his passing, are also included. |

Kog45:I hope you remember Enyeama was booted out of the team for standing up for his players' rights. The same Oliseh was even coach, I bet you if Eguavien was not the level-headed type we may be hearing different stories today. The Eagles have survived similar situations in time past and gone ahead to play even hours to the game. |

TheSuperNerd:You can say it is American-fueled because it served America's interests. But the truth is that there are always bonafide issues behind any uprising. Your eyes are only on America because you didn't live in Libya to experience the actual issues that caused them to revolt. Generally people like leaders that have a nationalistic appeal, if you don't have it, it won't belong before you find yourself in hot-water. The only thing that might save you is if you have a politically divided country with a set of people that will always back you. This same phenomenon caught up with Obama himself which made Democrats to lose in 2016 to Trump with his 'America First' campaign slogan. Even the Democrats are starting to throw out some of their long-held policies like immigration and foreign assistance. Americans as with everyone else generally are moving away from cosmopolitan ideologies. |

TheSuperNerd:I knw even understand wetin him mean by saying that Ghadafi was too pan African 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Like say if the late Libyan leader was European em go send nations outside of his continent? 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ No be the same seed of hatred they planted against Jona who was wise enough to leave the seat of power for buhari if not Libya for better pass Nigeria by now |

Goke7:I repeat it,the Libya situation is different…I can’t remember any similar circumstances that we are held hostage, not able to train for a match. My point no captains will beg his players to play in such extreme conditions. |

Kog45:Libyans over did their own abeg. To a point I was praying that they don’t even dare go physical on our players because those Arabs are capable of anything evil especially when majority of our players are Christians |

daveP:TBH, Musa ought to have retired by now, if not for selfish reasons. The team has moved on. We have Lookman who is a Musa pro-max. Ekong on the other hand is doing an excellent job as a captain. |

Libya is a shithole. From their antics in the last match, I already imagined their way of life... I rightly and permanently added them to my black book... I have a bossom friend in Libya (till today won't understand why Libya of all places, but he say hustle) He already downloaded all the atrocities of Libyan nationals to foreigners expecially blacks. I already know their way and when I saw their football antics I understood better who they are. Although, na my brothers and sisters dey use their leg Waka go there. So anything dem see, make dem manage, but the tales I've heard about the doings in that desert, no Nigerian should even be passing in front of that country... A shame they have brought themselves. A national and international disgrace... I spit on libyans. Tueh. |
