I work with a High profile federal government parastatal with good remuneration.

We were 100 that was employed in 2013 drawing from South and North.

The future implications is that they will occupy majority of the apex positions in this parastatal and the south will start shouting marginalization and why all top directors are from the north.

The last meeting I had at the NNPCL Head quarter's Abuja saw 99% of Top Management Staff from the north.

During The introduction of members I was shaking my head. This bring me to ask, could this issue I am experiencing in my own organization be the same in NNPCL?

Rubbish! Those instances you cite are just exceptions to the rule!

Can’t speak for other ethnicities in the south, but i sure as hell know the Igbo don’t have the same opportunities as others to reach the top owing to the unlevel playing-field and glass ceiling placed above our heads! Whether it’s the military, federal civil service or gov’t owned coys and parastatals, the story is the same for Ndigbo! And this is even before we begin to talk about how anyone working honestly in the Nigerian civil service (whether state or federal) is setting themselves up for a poverty-stricken old age, and living from hand to mouth for them and their family while they’re still in active service!

Fire exit/emergency will and must be indicated.
