Not true. Nothing has been decided yet. Obviously picked off a post from twitter by Mr Nigerian Football. It was a suggestion. minfelix: |

why is blue font seeing this issue from a negative angle. The Libyans just don't care what would have happened to our boys. What if the plane crashed due to fuel shortage. What if those terrorist attacked our boys there What if they kidnapped our boys or even eliminate them Abeg blue font zukwanuike Make we thank God the boys are safe |

Amedino99:Saving us from a National embarrassment is also important. I am asking the mitigation plans put in place by the NFF. I am yet to hear any proposition. What were the mitigation plans put in place or the only solution is to abandon them? |

TheGoodJoe:embarrassment arising out of their own decision to land at a location different from the already agreed airport. How's that any form of embarrassment. |

TheGoodJoe:The Libyans were not abandoned. It was not even an emergency. It was an issue of miscommunication which the Libyans deliberately created for themselves. The contingency plans may not be the best but given the limitations we have as a country, lots of people agree that the NFF did their best to welcome the Libyans. If they were not satisfied, they should have lodged a formal complaint with CAF. The NFF can obviously improve their logistics but they did their best here! |

Lee Carsley would stay as England interim head coach till December 2024 and return to his role as U21 England coach as from January 1st 2025 to lead England U21s title defence at the U21 Euros. Tuchel's assistant is Anthony Barry and both will resume duties January 1st, 2025. Interesting times ahead for English Football. |

You are overblowing this. They were never in danger. Just end it already and stop defending animals who unjustifiably almost killed your own NT, cooked up a fake agenda with fake pics and vids, and charged x5 of the standard price of plane fuel. Enough please. TheGoodJoe: |

TheSuperNerd:I was just gonna respond with this your line of thought. Then I changed my mind realizing this is TheGoodJoe we are talking about. The Only Good Joe! When he goes in on arguments, na like pitbull. E no dey let off. Tacitly, I think what he is trying to imply essentially is that NFF being who they are, scuttled and mismanaged the Libyans trip to Nigeria. I watched the interview of the Tunisian Pilot of the chartered plane of the Super Eagles, you will know that these Libyans planned the frustration from the get go. Both their trip to Naija and the Eagles to Libya. If you are coming for an away game, play soccer and not waste time. The moment that bashiru goal entered, suddenly nobody get injury again. That for me, is the defining moment. They have been at this for as long as forever. If TheGoodJoe doesn't get this point, there is no point advancing the argument. |

Wait wait... so Emmanuel Emegha's Dad is Togolese sef. It is his mum alone who is Nigerian. So Togo had claims on Emegha too but we didn't know?? They didn't even make a cogent move, not that he would have considered them anyway. Now I see. Anyway, he is with the Dutch U21s. Following Zirkzee's path. |

I read through thegoodjoe comments on Libya Nigeria issue and was wowed Nigerian never disappoint with our over sabi……did you see any Libyan trying to give balance argument?NO but total support to their team but here we are seeing people trying to tell us where we got it wrong when it was obvious Libya team right from Nigeria are up to something and it played out…..well I will not be surprised seeing Nigerians writing letters to CAF that will caused it. |

When my blue font friend gets in this mood of arguing in a contrarian way na to jump and pass his posts with the speed of light. The part wey off me saying we should have paid for the Libyans flight from PH to Uyo because we're rich mumu's who should pay for other people's incompetence. minfelix: |

TheGoodJoe:Oga you need to go back to really understand the whole thing, the story never changed, LFF notified nff of their landing in ph 1hr into their flight which is 3hr before arrival. Nigeria teams have gone out for tournaments in the past and got stranded due to nff incompetence, did we go asking the host nation to come bail our team or we mount pressure on the nff. Either Libya got themselves stranded in sambisa or wherever, thier LFF or government should take responsibility, ours is just to assist. |

kennysville:When one keep on arguing for winning sake, one loses respect. It was obviously we are in for it with Libya antics in Uyo. If Libya had gotten a draw in Uyo we would not been having this problem |

Kog45:My brother. It's the woke nature. Trying to prove that you can think beyond the average. How English man dey call am sef... "balanced argument" Because I don't get it. For all the incompetence of the NFF, the lybians decided to land in PH instead of Uyo and gave notice only 3 hours before ETA. And you are comparing it to 1. Diverting a plane already on descent to an abandoned airport not fit for flight and insisting despite the pilots telling you numerously that the fuel might not even be sufficient. 2. Despite You diverting the plane, you still locked these persons for 16 hours without reception..,not even food and water. 3. When help was coming, you frustrated the Nigerian High commission attempts to provide aide. 4. Sell aviation fuel at 5 times the actual price. Haba thegoodjoe. This is not the right time to be woke. Anything could have gone wrong. These are people's sons, husbands and Fathers ooo. |

TheGoodJoe:Dude! I think I have to respond to you now. This you have written up here is borderline absurd. I have never engaged you vehemently and be attacking your personality. But a word of advise? You cant be right at all times. Sometimes I wonder if you are married. Now as you usually say that one should attack the point and not the person, who travels without finding the proximity of their destination to the Airport they are landing? You are treating these folks like diplomats. This match has been on the calendar from I think June. Who okayed their original trip to Port Harcourt? How do you leave cause and start to attack effects? By your reasoning, Newton's 3rd law of motion is already invalidated. You have a high credibility rating here bro, dont devalue it with needless arguments in a bid to look that part. You are always and have always been intelligent. No need to be trying too hard. |

TheSuperNerd:If thegoodjoe is been sincere,he would know those Libyans were so dirty with their tricks and ready for the worse consequence. Tell him to watch the Tunisia 🇹🇳 pilot given a summary of what happened when Dey wanted to land in the airport(Benghazi) and was asked to turn back to the nearest airport. Despite the pilot telling dem d aviation fuel might not be enough to take the plane to d next airport ,Dey still insisted he turns back ..what could be more devilish 😈 dan dt.lets assume d worst happened and fuel wasn’t enuf,dt means the entire member of d team would be declared missing and we would be hear “crying mourning, writing RIP 🪦 (God forbid) |

TheGoodJoe:SMH.. why are you deliberately playing down the dubious character of the Libyans?? Those guy's put themselves in that situation, changing travel plans abruptly, without informing your host country on time is what you want to blame NFF for?, Even at that the NFF still rallied around to meet up, so as not to keep those fckerz stranded. And a Nigeria is defending and in turn justifying what Libyans did to us... CRAZY!!!!!! |
