Before I attempt to respond to the quibbles you raised, let me backtrack to the questions you pointed at Christlike above. You asked when the Testaments "changed". There is this statement Jesus made to His disciples here: "... for this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." Matthew 26:28

Now Jesus did not speak from a vaccum. This reality was actually prophesied hundreds of years prior by Prophets like Jeremiah, Ezekiel and others. I will enclose a snapshot of the Scriptures from them stating the coming of a New Covenanr or New Testament which Jesus perfectly fulfilled by His Death and Resurrection.

You mentioned that Jesus said God abandoned Him on the Cross. But do you realize that even then Jesus was quotng a Messianic Psalm --" My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?" Psalm 22:1 Read the whole Psalm 22 for greater context about how the Death of Jesus fulfilled the circumstances to allow people mock Him saying that He had previously trusted in God to save Him now let Him come down from the Cross to prove who He really is. The 7th and 8th verse of Psalm 22 drive this point: " All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
8 He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him."

I think the real question you would ask is WHY would the Father seem to "abandon" Jesus at that precise moment. Jesus being the Word of God in the flesh and having the Spirit of God in FULL WITHOUT MEASURE had 100 percent fellowship or Spiritual Unity with the Father. Something happened to Jesus on the cross when as prohesied in Isaiah 53--the sins of the whole world was poured on Him.

We know that God is Holy. God can never tolerate sin the way you can never tolerate the sight of an open oozing smelly suckaway. Yet for the sins of the world to be forgiven, Jesus had to live a perfect and sinless life to qualify to TAKE AWAY all the sins of mankind in His Body. The presence of ALL OF MANKIND's SINS on Jesus on the Cross broke that deep Spritual Intimacy anc connection Jesus had with the Father--but it had to be done. It's like running an anti-virus program on your PC that demands you need to REBOOT to flush out the corrupted parts of your system. And when Jesus died--the sinless taking the guilt of the sinners--it brought about the ONLY real hope for the entire mankind ever getting forgiven and connected to God Spiritually again.

You should be grateful Jesus took your own sins and guilt on His body on the Cross as the only qualified person to become the perfect sacrifice that would assuage the wrath of God for sins. Rejecting Christ means you are saying that you can stand before God and beat your chest that you deserve to be forgiven because you are perfect. YOU WILL FAIL and will be instantly DOOMED to damnation if you think you stand a chance before God without Jesus Chirst.

Jesus took the punishment for your sins so that you do not end up taking the eternal punishment for your own sins.

And yes....I agree with your quote from Isaiah where it says God created the darkness. But this is why at this moment in time....Grace through Jesus Christ is prevailing. He is giving all of mankind time to repent and so delaying Judgement for now. But soon, it will be too late. Please make the right choice...choose Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

God himself made the first covenant not Jesus! You should show us where God made both covenants! The new covenant was never from God but Jesus. Remember Jesus told Thomas that he's going to his God and his God! That is, Jesus has a God! So where exactly did God make the covenant?
