MissW:They understood you and speak fine. They simply pretended as a defense mechanism because your tribe is known for betrayal and they were wary. |

It’s surprising to see some Yoruba people getting upset over a straightforward question I asked. Many Yorubas often struggle with speaking English properly, mixing up past and present tenses. On the other hand, it's rare to find an Igbo person who can’t communicate clearly in basic English or pidgin. I’m not talking about accents here. Typically, if you come across a Yoruba person who speaks English fluently, they probably have a privileged background, perhaps having studied abroad or in one of those elite British schools in Nigeria. Abeg face it.. |

Chilipepper:Why are u desperately struggling to create content?? You aren't making any sense. You are myopic and primitive in your thoughts. It's obvious you are just about starting your journey to exposure but thinking you were there already. You shall know better as you grow older and just then, reality will dawn on you bro. |

It's even more surprising how extreme you are. You're quite foolish. Did you read any insults in my posts or see me insulting anyone in the comments? Yet here you are, with your ignorant, disrespectful attitude. Why can't you just share your thoughts like others who have done so sensibly? Foolish old man. lonelygem: |

Chilipepper: ![]() I attended a public secondary school, and I can confidently say I speak English better than your English teacher. You're just a blatant tribalist! The school I attended also had Igbo students who struggled with English, performing poorly and having to repeat classes. This was during the tenure of Sosan (Fashola's deputy and Commissioner for Education in Lagos), when passing both English and mathematics was required for promotion. |
