no be lie. same here. I am a living testimony too. Nairaland has been a blessing especially that ashewo thread really really really helped my life, take it from me, as someone who comes from the roughest part of Ibadan with little to zero connect and not knowing particularly where my life was going , this forum ( that thread ) nah him catapult my life to where I am now. Almost everything wey I know(90%) na from this forum, correct people Dey this forum no be small.

Though I have some regrets too, missed some opportunities cos I was kind of impetuous, I was supposed to ride and milk the wave wella that time , I won’t blame myself much sha..maybe cos I was young.

I feel like I should jump on this train of testimonies. My writing career started from nairaland and I spent the first early years hunting for jobs in the jobs and literature sections. Then I met some employers who offered me my first writing jobs. After sometime, I was confident enough to hunt for jobs from clients all over the world. Here I am today earning in different currencies from Nigeria.

Saw so many bad bad things. Lol. I use to get inspired by StillmaticOG at the time. E don teh wey I know Seanwilliams from that thread. Unfortunately, I had to abandon my previous account due to some issues.

For me, Nairaland is a life-changing platform. I actually don't know where I would have been if not for God and the priceless information I read on this platform.

But, children and Gen Z changed the narrative. Either they are trolling or insulting one another, or posting irrelevant things... Or they are seeking money.
