Best African striker ever ahead of etoo, weah and drogba? The madness on this platform is definitely irreversible
English is not hard, you are the one that decides not to pay attention to the details

CAF President, Patrice Motsepe speaks about Nigeria vs. Libya issue & he addresses the delays of teams/clubs at airports.

I hope they can stay up. It was sad to see Sporting Lagos drop. We need private clubs in the top flight but they must do the work on the field.

I don't know their coach but you can check their X handle. I don't rate them yet though
Just two weeks ago they beat Insurance 3 nil and also beat Heartland too

They are trying just that teams in Nigeria league besides enyimba and Remo Stars for now are barely consistent. Rivers united since the merger of dolphins and sharks, Rangers lately and Kano pillars too have manage to stay in top flight

Beat them at home. I take nothing away from the wins but the quality of the team + poor logistics for travelling teams can't be underestimated.

Anyway, too early in the season to pass judgement. By January we go know

You really think he will win the balon d’or before he retires because for anyone to surpass weah, they have to win the Balon d’or

Last time I checked, the Ballon d'Or is not a metric used to identify a good striker.

Osimhen might've even forgotten that he has demolished George Weah's record in the Serie A, by far.

Wow, wonderful!!! So by implication, a ballon d'Or winner is not necessarily a good player (irrespective of the position he plays). Again I say, wonderful!!!!!!

You're not getting the point, the Ballon d'Or shows that a player is good, fine. But there are great strikers out there that even had the numbers than George Weah but didn't win the Ballon d'Or.

So a good "striker" is not judged by how many Ballon d'Ors he has or doesn't have. Emphasis on "striker".

So Weah is better than Salah because Salah haven't won the balon d'or?
Modric better than Iniesta because Iniesta didn't win any balon d'or?
Is that how it works?

Tosin Adarabioyo is not better than Semi Ajayi.

He is not better than Calvin Bassey

He is not better than Olisa Ndah.

He is not better than Jordan Torunarigha

He is not better than Igo Ogbu.

He is definitely not as good as William Troost-Ekong.

Una think say na mai mai for a defender to win best player at a tournament?

Ekong's performance at the 2023 AFCON is akin to Fabio Cannavaro's performance at the 2006 World Cup that catapulted him to win the 2006 Ballon D'or.

Anyone who thinks Tosin is better than William Troost-Ekong who won MVP at an AFCON is definitely deluded.

My guy, for any African player to surpass George Weah, they have to win the highest individual award in football “balon d’or” this is exactly why the likes of etoo, drogba aren’t even ranked ahead of weah let alone osimehn. I don’t give a fck about your emotional attachment to any player I’m here to be unbiased

No one said anything about not being a good striker or being a good striker. You were talking about “GOAT status” and I highlighted the fact that, to surpass the incumbent Goat you have to match or even surpass his individual awards and balon d’or is the highest individual award

I only said greatest African striker EVER and I had numbers raked in mind when I said that, not awards, comprehension is not so hard my man.

George Weah's goals scored is not even up to Eto'o's or Drogba's but you had to bring awards. Shey na award be the primary yardstick wey dem dey use rate strikers or na goals scored.

Just dey create arguments wey arguments no dey because of the inability to wield the art of comprehension properly.

When you ask, who's the highest scoring African in Serie A?, you get - Victor Osimhen, who broke George Weah's record, making him the better goal scorer in that category.

When you ask, who's the African player with the most goals in a single season in Serie A?, you get - Victor Osimhen, who broke Samuel Eto'o's record, making him the frontrunner in that category too.

But no, na awards your brain go direct. Wayyyy off topic. SMH.
