I have to confess that I thought Tinubu will never reshuffle his cabinet but I was proven wrong.
The funny thing though is that the reshuffle is actually meaningless and even worse than not doing any
Like this man keeps breaking his own records in cluelessness and incompetence
I thought a serious reshuffle is one that requires the appointment of a substantive Minister for Petroleum and sack of the FCT Minister for overheating the polity with his public fisticuffs with a sitting gov. I don't think that level of indiscipline has ever been shown by any government functionary since this republic began.
What the hell is Ministry of Regional Development in a federal state? Is the FG going to now supervise the "development" of each region?
It seems there are now more Ministers of state than substantive Ministers and the ironic thing is that the oil producing Niger Delta no longer has a ministry but cows now have a ministry and a full fledged Minister to booth!!
Mind you Niger Delta is not South South. There are states from SW and SE in Niger Delta commission
Las las Tinubu does not have any serious direction he's going in terms of governance. Everything is politics and political calculations where he is concerned

Too many ministries and ministers yet absolutely nothing to show for it.

Minister of power with unprecedented power collapses in the country, is still sitting pretty.

Exercise in futility.

You see that ministry of tourism? Has no purpose while we have no infrastructure or security. That’s why we never heard of her for her entire tenure except that she was sick at one time.

Post from April 29th

casualobserver:
There is a minister called Akali?

As far as tourism, whoever heads that ministry has the easiest job…there is nothing to deliver and a plethora of legitimate reasons why it is unreasonable in the near future to expect any progress in that sector. Tourism cannot take off in Nigeria without infrastructure, roads, adequate security, hospitality etc so we might as well scrap it for now. We that are in Nigeria are afraid to travel to explore our country because of these reasons, so why would a foreigner when there are other countries to explore with requisite infrastructure?

Ministry of tourism should be scrapped and any skilled sector staff deployed to foreign affairs and culture ministries until such a time when we have fixed the underlying infrastructure necessary for toirism.
