fullclub:I’m planning to relocate to the UK for work and would appreciate any guidance on the criteria I need to meet. Could you also provide insight into the typical expenses and funds needed for a smooth transition? To support this move, I’m considering selling my car, valued at around 6-7 million, as well as land worth 2 million. In your opinion, would this be sufficient to achieve my relocation goals? Thank you for your assistance, and I look forward to any advice you can offer. |

Japa is very boring especially when you do it alone , no family no kids. You will encounter something diff especially new comers that will bring out tears at a point and you feel like going back home . Prepare your mind, there is no family here in the uk. If you are a typical traditional person that like commanding respect or put sir in your name , You will will be disappointed. prepare to knw how to run because 1 second late the bus driver will not wait for you. Learn how to use your google map if you don’t want to get lost. Please learn any hand work especially plumbing , electrician , barber. Bricklayer , and carpenter. They get paid more than an Accountant. Don’t let anybody discourage you , it takes time to settle down but it worth it |

fullclub:UK has been good despite all the hurdles I had to scale through. I arrived UK on the 13th of September last year and God made a way for me to be housed by two Nigerians I barely know. One housed me for about 6months and the other for 3 months till I was able to secure my own accommodation. God has been faithful and it's a fact I really appreciate. I faced the school fees issues as well in fact my account was blocked and I couldn't submit my assessment but all those are stories to be told another day. Congratulations to you Op on your forthcoming graduation, mine will be in few months. |

How many people have properties to sell like him? Some people did not survive and actually died...so to be forewarned is not a crime. I would rather be very warned than to be less warned. ShenTeh: |

tensazangetsu20:Nigeria is not finished. Maybe you are. People are still getting good jobs. I consult for a financial institution in Nigeria on enterprise tech solution and I know young guys (between 24 to 27 years) getting jobs every week, travelling out on holiday to western world, balling big and coming back. Most of them work remotely, enjoy their lives. Companies abroad headhunt most of them, and the bank keeps recruiting with good pay in Nigeria standard. These guys easily go to any embassy and get visa. I witness it. These guys choose and pick jobs. Banks place them on special salary scale, different from the operations guys. They have enviable perks. Banks send them on trainings in western worlds and they never think of japa. They go and come back, even collect fat estacode. I am not talking about any dicks and harrys, I am talking about tech guys, which is my turf . Come to Island in Lagos and see for yourself. So, if you are finished as an individual, there are some people killing it big in Nigeria, and hey, they are not politicians but they have skillsets which you lack. And hey, how is Chile where you are slaving? |
