You are in the Spirit Basco. Clinton's touch and finish today vs CIV U20 was beautifully executed. GK was stranded.

Abeg, who laid on that intelligent pass to Clinton? Been trying to find out. Who is that lad?

BascoVanVeli:
I was getting my butt kicked at a basketball tournament, young boys no get respect these days grin

No I'm talking about the 1st goal Musa scored. Victor Moses with the ball from wide, Musa takes one touch to bring it in just like Clinton did today. The finishes were different but that touch was almost identical

My boy, the 1990’s era is one of the most historic era in football. These era had Worldclass players like batistuta, Del piero, rui costa, Maldini, Zidane, romerio, roberto baggio, Ronaldo da lima (44 goals in 1995) Jj okocha, laudrup, klinsman, litmanen, Luis Figo, Rivaldo and for an African player to Win the Balon D’or during that period, just know that he was EXCEPTIONAL. The mistake that many Gen Z make is using only “Statistics” to measure a player ability rather than watching that player. Trust me, ability, performance and talent wise, George Weah is the African GOAT until someone else decide to win that Balon D’or trophy. I don’t care how many collective trophies that player won.
The fact that someone that watch Ronaldo da Lima in 1995 absolutely tearing the Dutch league and Weah still defeated him speaks Volume. The man didn’t only win a Balon D’or, in addition to that, he also won the FIFA player of the year award. The fact that Weah wasn’t even one of the top scorers at Lique 1 and still won those awards speaks volume of his abilities. Football my boy no be statistics. You have to watch the game
Lolz @ my boy. shocked

That boy!!!! Yes... #15. Thanks so much. Didn't catch the number of the player before due to the angle. He didn't start the game ooo. So he came off the bench and delivered that killer pass. Beautiful!

Oyebanjo is good! There is a reason he was part of that fantastic midfield quartet of 2022 U17 Wafu B Class (Ebube okere, Raphael Oyebanjo, Basil Mbata, Ozor Okeke) that destroyed all before them in the region.

The most impressive player to me from the highlights is the Nigerian goalie, Ebenezer Harcourt

Good physique, excellent game reading and sharp reflexes

Looks like a future super eagles prospect.

Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina is reportedly wanted by Italian giants AC Milan and Roma ahead of the January transfer window.

The full-back will be out of contract at the City Ground next summer with a new long-term deal set to be offered to the 28-year-old.

Aina has already been linked with Roma, but now their rivals AC Milan have stepped into the picture according to Italian publication AS Roma Live, who say Aina is “popular” inside the club due to his contract situation but also his versatility which allows him to operate on either flank.

After joining Forest as a free agent in the summer of 2023, he impressed under manager Nuno Espírito Santo and earned a one-year extension which many clubs have been monitoring as it slowly runs down this season.

Milan are “remaining vigilant” about the Nigeria international’s contract situation, but Roma have Aina as “one of the first names” on their transfer wish-list, with this January being the time to pry the defender away from the Premier League side.

Awoniyi has really been unlucky. He got injured at the wrong time and Chris Wood is not messing around as well. That is football for you sometimes, I hope he bounces back with Forrest, also I don't think Nuno really fancies him too.
