I hope the NFF have a contingency plan in place o in case Libya decides to appeal at CAS.
Worst case scenario, we play the match at a neutral venue
They will still be pounded

Most progressive carries in La Liga this season...

• Vinicius Júnior: 59
• Dodi Lukebakio: 52
Chidera Ejuke: 50

Recall Ejuke is currently injured.

Awesome!!
Massive decision, even for CAF!!
Nothing massive about this, I expected them to ban Libya indefinitely too, add to that they should refund SE their funds spend returning home

What that shitty country did to both Rivers United and Enyimba, are still fresh in mind especially that of Enyimba

And that same mugu CAF dash them the points, Else they won't have the mind to try same with SE

Interestingly, second and third on the list are Sevilla players
Looks like something is cooking

Sad for Ejuke, just when he was getting his groove on..
Get well soon champ!

in principle yes but we are on 10 points. Rwanda in 3rd place have 5 points with 6 more points to gain. we need 2 points to qualify so just a win in November by match day 5 should see us free.

Goke7, sebi you doubted saying CAF HQs dey North Africa. I hope you can see with this how the power of Social media and international exposure ensured we said "fu** you" to the so called North African privilege in CAF.

Never mess with the The Super Eagles of Nigeria outside the pitch. You will get burned bad. Mess with us only on the pitch, IF YOU CAN
make I no lie. I had to check major media sources like goal.com to believe what I was seeing. There is hope for African football.

This also confirms that we are among the best, if not the best when it comes to fair play in Africa. We've been too much on the receiving end of CAF controversial favors. Congratulations to all of us especially on this thread who insisted we were never on the wrong side of things.

As for those who felt Libya had a point, next time check properly for antecedents before you make baseless claims.

Abi o shame on CAF! They should have penalized NFF and Rivers State government for not hiring Dangote's private jet to carry the Libyan's from PH to Uyo. lipsrsealed

But sha NFF still need to still CLARIFY... We need clarity on it all ... 3 points or not. Caf ruling or not. They need to clarify.

Very funny. I don't think I or anyone had supported what Libya did. It was totally condemned.

My point was us improving in our hospitality and closing lapses on our end. How that was misunderstood baffles me.

TheGoodJoe:
Something still bothers me regarding this Libya issue and I think the country deserves answers. The NFF needs to organize a question and answer segment with the media to clarify some issues.

As much as we are blaming Libya for being the brain box of the issue, we need to clean up our end too.
My point was too clear. Libya was not exonerated in anyway but I was talking of us improving to prevent falling into such trap.

There were lots of lapses on our end and this is nothing without a public published full report.

Our hospitality has always been top notch, just this week the female Algerian football team was in Nigeria do you hear of any hitch?

My posts are not meant to condone the actions of the Libyans. What they did as far as I am concerned is the reckless endangerment of National assets. There is no room for pardon and I hope they are cracked down for it. I hope they are made an example to end this recklessness once and for all.
It is shocking how basic points get misunderstood. No one was supporting Libya but pointing out how we can improve. There was no support for Libya in anyway. Rather a call for improvement in the protocol and logistics section of the NFF.

Finito.

We won't be in a position where our players almost lost their lives if our hospitality was top notch.

It is this kind of talk I am pointing out. A thorough review and polishing our ends to become top notch. We had lapses with Libya. This is not supporting Libya in anyway.

Nigeria started the whole thing Sir. Or dont You see the Libyan sitting on the floor? CAF not looking at the contingency of NFF in delivering this judgement is bias to say the least.
