Not so much safety as efficiency. There's a risk to driving around with a large pressurised gas tank in your trunk, true. But it's not widely used abroad because CNG is less energy efficient than octane fuel.

Is the CNG container approved by SON and other bodies that regulate goods. Nigerians should stop this non challant attitude. We must make things easy for ourselves in this country. Tinubu is trying to make things easy for Nigerians but I know we have a lot of strong head and stubborn people for this country. Developed countries do use this CNG and they are not complaining. But in Nigeria you will see different dramas.

Well jst so u know.... CNG increases maintenance cost in cars.meaning d car engine will need overhaul around 80,000miles .CNG bleeps up exhaust n inlet valves of quicker than petrol

just like diesel engine vehicles are designed to only handle heavy diesel ends and not PMS.. the same applies..

We cant just expect our PMS designed engines to suddenly run on methane gas irrespective of the conversion kits folks install..

Our vehicles are not gas generators or gas turbine engines..

Yes bt they are more expensive than petrol cars.Also ,note CNG cars dont travel far as they hav minimum fuel storage space.

Regarding the limited distance, isn't it somewhat similar to petrol vehicles which also have Limited storage tanks?

CNG cars require larger storage tanks to meet up wit d same distance d petrol car will cover.i have entered alot of taxis in different cities in europe n hav been in electric or hybrid vehicles bt nt once CNG.Even d infrastructure for refueling of CNG cars is too expensive for european countries not to talk of Nigeria.This people did not do a proper research before coming up with this
