Odunayaw:Truth be told, this team has a MF and defense problem. Big time. It could have easily been 2:0 in the first half. Thank God they have qualified for AFCON. They coach should better plug all these holes. |

Ballon d'Or day! I mean, Lookman's day 🔥🤩🇳🇬 This is looking like a leaked list of the top 10 candidates, if Lookman no dey at least the 8th wey Osimhen do last year, na cheating, which is why I don't believe this list. Lookman should be 4th or 5th, and that's because he's Nigerian, normal normal, he deserve to dey top 3.

EEGA:In a full match a long time ago. "Most impactful player" that is a very subjective and opinionated deduction which is usually self birthed. We make these over exaggerated claims that seem to have only support on this forum nowhere else. If he was so good why is he still there ❓ Clubs are offering way less than the expectations of Brugg FC tells us how he is valued in the open market. That means he is not rated as high as you think 🤔 |

komekn:He is on an upward trajectory. He is likely to move in the summer,as Brugge values him in the region of 30 million euros. But he must work on his temperament while maximising his strength. He must'n't go in for every tackle, that's not his style of play but must focus more on shielding the Backline with good positioning just like Mikel did during his Chelsea days. Mikel was a holding midfielder in the mould of a deep lying playmaker. He wasn't a Makelele or a prime Ndidi who could have an average of 4.2 tackles per game. I recommend that he watches more of Mikel's Clip as a holding midfielder for Chelsea as it will help him perfect the holding midfield role. |

charlesemeka85:They were credited with an interest but did not back it up with a bid. He was valued in the region of 18million euros last summer but has seen his stock rise to 30 million euros after impressing in the UCL this season. |

do4luv14:Seriously. I'm still confused. Ademola Lookman: ▶️ Played four finals only this year. - AFCON (performed well) - Coppa Italia (performed well) - Europa League (performed historically and won it) - Super Cup (highest rated Atalanta player that night) ▶️ First human to score a hat-trick in the Europa League final since its inception. ▶️ Seventh player to score a hat-trick in any UEFA competition final, which the last person to do so did in 1974-75 season. ▶️ Led Atalanta to winning their first European trophy EVER and their second major trophy since the Coppa Italia win in 1962-63 season. ▶️ AFCON silver medalist 🥈 ▶️ Coppa Italia silver medalist 🥈 ▶️ Europa League winner and Finals Man of the Match 🏆 ▶️ Super Cup silver medalist 🥈 ▶️ One of the best wingers in world football currently. But somehow, Foden is in the top 10 and Lookman's not. Till evening sha 😐 |

Ademola Lookman makes Sofascore's Serie A Team of the Week! Played 6 games in Serie A (5 starts) 🥅 4 goals ⚽⚽⚽⚽ 🎯 4 assists 🅰️🅰️🅰️🅰️ ▶️ 1.33 goal contributions per game ➗ 🌟 Three Team of the Week appearances 😎🇳🇬

BankyGee:Lookman isn't one of the best wingers in club football but the best false 9/Left Support Striker/Left Attacking Midfielder. He excelled in this same position in the AFCON under Peseiro and struggled as a winger under finidi. |

Having lookman is a very huge blessing... Fr Regardless of any position he finishes tonight He is our winner. Nigeria's winner and we're proud of him❤️ |

BascoVanVeli:Fine Highlights. Seeing the game yesterday, I must point out that the team have a decent bench with Divine Oliseh (#13), Ibrahim (#12) and Oyebanjo (#15) able to come in as subs and still make impact. And again, Harcourt >>>> Nwosu. Best decision made at this tournament by Zubairu. Suleyman Alabi (#18), the guy who set up Clinton Jephta's goal vs CIV was also quite impressive. Sabiru Ibrahim (#4) who starred vs CIV from the CDM role was injured so Alabi started in his place and acquiesced himself quite well vs Niger. Highly cerebral Israel Ayuma (#10) and the Elkanemi lad, Nasiru Salihu (# have done good stepping up their plays but I still feel we need an upgrade especially in Salihu's role in that midfield starting XI. With that said, Salihu has done enough to show he's decent enough for the squad at least. The CF role depth is interesting. #19 Arierhi Kparobo, #12 Ibrahim and #9 Charles Agada who hasn't even played a minute yet looks good to go. Clinton Jephta of Enyimba continues to impress on the wings and his goals have all been well taken strikes. Deservedly Man Of the Match Yesterday.

BankyGee:It's OK to support our own,Lookman has been one of the best performers, But he is not on top 5,placing him on top 3 is overestimation. It's alright to be patriotic but some of u should also understand that Nigeria footballers are not the only ones who play football. |
