The trick here is to change the + to - then you'll have your answer

1: 9-5= 4
Square of 4 is 16

2: 6-3=3
Square of 3 is 9

3: 13-7= 6
Square of 6 is 36

Therefore

18-16 = 2
Square of 2 is 4

So our answer is 4

18 + 16 = 4

Logic. : Simply change the plus sign to minus then do a square of your answer

Thus 18 - 16 equals 2. The square of 2 that's 2x2 is 4

Do the same thing for the other examples above.
