I am not in any way affiliated to the honorable member neither am I a lover of Nigerian politicians but it's good to call a spade a spade.
I read comments where so many Nigerians where calling the honorable rep evil names, some went even far as to lay curses on him and threaten him without knowing they are committing same "crime" they want to crucify the honorable member for.
They want to remove the log of wood in someone else eyes forgetting theirs is so big that they are almost blind.

Some will slap your father like that, while he is out hustling for food to feed you and your siblings.

Someone honorable.

At least let's hear from the honorable. If you have ever had issues with unruly people, you might not understand why it is good to bear both sides of a story before taking sides.

An average citizen has bad character. Both the driver and honorable acted wrongly, non of them is exempted.

1-Do you think the "dishonorable" will come out and say he was wrong ?

2-There are unruly people all over the world, is he the minister of correcting unruliness with physical assault ?

3-You want to hear what exactly, are you deaf ? You didnt hear what he had to say on the video ? Or was that AI Video ?

4-This man has no business being a lawmaker, he is a thug. He assaulted the bolt driver because of his perceived power over him.

Which of the following crimes do you believe these people are guilty of

● The crime of impersonating a senator as committed by the Representative
● The crime of assaulting another citizen of the country as committed by the Representative
● The offense of destroying the driver's property as committed by the Representative
● The crime of abuse of power as committed by the Representative

Which? huh

So, someone slaps your mother or your mother, breaks their phone, and tears the clothing off their back, but you will wait to hear a story before you call the police and demand an investigation and immediate prosecution? undecided

Since when did bad character become a criminal offense for Pete's sake? undecided

This representative abused his power, impersonated a senator, and went ahead to destroy someone else's property(shirt and phone) in addition to physically assaulting him. Wetin concern bad character — which again is not a criminal offense— to do with all of these crimes committed by this representative of a man? huh

Answer the question...

So, someone slaps your mother or your father or even a relative of yours, breaks their phone, and tears the clothing off their back, but you will wait to hear a story before you call the police and demand an investigation and immediate prosecution? undecided

You have a similar trait with him. This are some of the reasons our older leaders don't want to relinquish power to the youth cos they know most of them are like them. The likes of the dishonourable are twarting the chances of few credible youth to attain power.

I have had to walk away from very unruly people under a very heavy provocation but unfortunately the house of Representatives member didn't have that emotional intelligence at that moment.

Please check very well. This is likely the first time such was reported about him

I fully support the lawmaker cos i know he was provoked for sure.
Most bolt drivers are disrespectful, rude, unprofessional and so full of themselves.
Their bad attitude is the reason most people no longer use their service.
Most of the idiots think they are too big for the job yet they won't quit.
Nonsense

I keep hearing or reading let's hear from the honourable. I'm like the video is clear. It's like he could not control his anger and pride.
The naked pic of the driver I don't know I saw no proof of tearing of clothes.
If the rich man is agitated you can imagine what the common man is going through.
Even if the bolt driver spoke to the honourable wrongly or rudely he should have swallowed his pride and get a staff to go collect the package.
May God not allow village people locate us. Honourable messed up plain and simple. Bolt guy capitalized on what was going to be played out and started recorded. I have fought with Okasan rider and when I look back I saw how I brought myself down. Bus conductor have messed me up. I have learnt avoid them. Na you go loose last. Leave them and the trouble they are finding will find them. Live in peace and avoid trouble.

Even the president of the federal republic of Nigeria has no right to assault anybody.
There is something called "law and order", which is what the house of rep member was elected to uphold.
This is similar to a security man stealing from the house he was employed to safe guard.
As a law maker, you cannot break the law with such impunity.......The only place that is done is by animals in the jungle.
