It depends on what is inside the theatre. You may have a fine looking theatre and inside it is ill-equipped. Looks does not matter. What matters is: Diathermy Laminal flow, temperature reading, operating lights, functioning operating tables and trolley, functioning anaesthetic machine, suctioning machine, ventilated room, sterile packs and instruments. ETC. |

tpia.: Oh!!! Is this a joke?? So following your reasoning, if I have yet to build my own house, I should have no opinion whatsoever of other structures? and this makes sense to you? You are asked a simple question . . . answer it and move on. Not make yourself SUPERVISOR of what views people can hold or not hold based on YOUR take on how it ought to be. Seriously, get over that nonsense !! |

Aloy.Emeka: so what have you done, that's better than this? and like I said- if you're at death's door and that's the only type of clinic available, tell them you'd rather die than go there. |

Why do we Nigerians like complaining? I mean its a thing of choice whether you'l like to be taken there or not but the issue is, people are thinking! I am no medic but I want to believe that the people who have provided this have taken into consideration the basic requirements. They have also given 20 FREE surgeries already. Prior to this, maybe the people who were operated upon would have died or suffered permanent disabilities. Ild rather we do our own bit rather than outrightly condemn another person's effort. If this was a government initiative, I would understand your grieviances but please, these are private individuals who are doing their bits. Go do your own bit! |

Kobojunkie:Maybe you should go to Somalia and rwanda and see where people are starving. Most end up 'feasting' on animal remains and drinking cow urine! The point is, lives have been saved. I want to believe the minimum standards have been met in building this surgery. Its totally unfair for us to sit down behind a PC and bring down another man's idea. We might end up discouraging others. |
Re: Will You Allow Your Belly Opened In This Modern Surgical Theatre? by Kobojunkie: 4:15pm On Dec 21, 2009 |
proudly9ja: Dude!!! That is NO POINT HERE!!! You are asked a very very simple question here. Instead you have found a way to convert this into yet another “SING GLORY TO THE PATRIOTS” session!! Are you sure you are alright? Because your so called somalians and Rwandans eat poo means it is OK for us to eat poo as well? What next? If the somalians or any other desperately poor population out there lick their butts after defaecating, we should follow suit? Do you even dissect that reasoning before you post? |
Re: Will You Allow Your Belly Opened In This Modern Surgical Theatre? by proudly9ja(m): 4:20pm On Dec 21, 2009 |
Kobojunkie:You made an analogy and I gave you information that just in case you've not noticed, people eat worse when they are starving. Kobojunkie: You also virtually destroyed another man's effort merely by looking at a picture you yourself doubted was original. And I replied by saying, rather than base all your points on whats in the picture, have you sort to find out if it meets minimum standards? |

Arewe now so bad that we can draw conclusions with war torn Rwanda and Somalia? |
Re: Will You Allow Your Belly Opened In This Modern Surgical Theatre? by proudly9ja(m): 4:28pm On Dec 21, 2009 |
@Aloy, Lets not take this out of context and return to the topic at hand. Someone said analysed that is it an excuse for someone to eat dog poo just because he or she is starving and I gave an example that it is not just an excuse, it is really happening. Back to the topic, if you read the outline, you'l read that these people have given 20 free surgeries in this same surgery. Like I said, maybe half of those 20 people would be dead by now or permanently disabled but for those surgeries. I have also challenged anyone who has more information to tell us with facts that that surgery does not meet minimum standard. If anyone can do that, I will keep quiet. |
Re: Will You Allow Your Belly Opened In This Modern Surgical Theatre? by Nobody: 4:32pm On Dec 21, 2009 |
Kobojunkie: is there any particular reason why you're comparing a surgical clinic with dog poo? The fact that you're not in the medical field somehow gives you a right to disparage others who are, even though you have limited or no experience evaluatiing what you're talking about? |
Re: Will You Allow Your Belly Opened In This Modern Surgical Theatre? by Kobojunkie: 4:33pm On Dec 21, 2009 |
proudly9ja: OK!!! Let me get this straight. I responded to a post trying to compare the above with the MOST EXTREME of cases, by posting another YET EXTREME case, and what you did was respond to mind by telling me people eat worse when they are starving? Why does that matter though when we are NOT considering an extreme case here but simply trying to answer a simple question here. A Simple YES OR NO would really suffice in this case. Not trying to make this yet another US VS THEM thread. proudly9ja:Wait a second . . . . I doubted the originality of the picture and then I also posted that the other @Poster take a close look at the potential fraud rather than run off IMAGINING the inside is heaven on earth, and you claim I virtually destroyed another man’s work by doing so? Are you kidding me? What else do I base this on? Your backside? Lol . . . Of course, I will base my points on evidence in the picture and not some COOKED UP PHOOEY I have no way of substantiating. They say pictures tell a 1000 stories and that picture there tells a lot. Why IMAGINE what it does not? The question is about the PICTURE! |
