I don't know why some ppl are criticizing the ballon dor given to Rodri. It's a well deserved award to Rodri. Many people tend to concentrate on the hype and goals of attacking players while not paying attention to hardworking midfielders, defenders and even goalkeepers.

He was at the heart of the Spanish National Team that was dominant in all manners.. I won't say he was a stand out player for Mancity last season.. He was decent, but nothing spectacular.
