How on God's green earth can this midfielder with less than 10 goals and 10 assists in over 70 matches be given the award for the world best player....just because he's a Spaniard.

I never expected a Blackman to win it anyways, but this level of robbery is only rivalled by the 2010 heist.

Wesley sneidjer won a treble in 2010 and got to the world cup finale, but the award was given to Lionel Messi because he scored 92 goals in a calendar year, according to them he won it because of the sheer amount of goals despite going trophiless.

This award is certainly not purely based on merit,if not one of either vinicius or carvajal is supposed to win it.its the same way Halland was rob in 2022 despite his tremendous accomplishment that season just because of world cup,I just hope he wins in future if not it shall remain as a very painful memory to Halland n a shame to football.
