League goals only:

Weah scored 7 in 34 league games in 94/95 for PSG.

Scored 11 in 26 games in 95/96 for Milan.

Osimhen, Eto'o, Drogba, Salah have all surpassed this mediocre statistic yet couldn't bag the FIFA award or Ballon Dor. If both awards were being real then Weah's win was a sham. It was all inclusivity-driven.

And now they will use that as shield to anyone saying they were biased towards Vinicius Jr in 2024.

The politics at the top runs deeper than many eyes can see. There are reasons for some decisions even at the top echelon of football dating far back.

I think Xabi Alonso was robbed of the Best Coach of the year award.

Bayer Leverkusen won the club's first Bundesliga title after going unbeaten through out the season ,
They won the DFB Pokal, and only lost one game (the Europa League final) in 53 games last season 😮

Has any coach ever had such a fantastic record in a season?

Even the Number 1 Chess player in the world, Magnus Carlsen of Norway offers his support to Vinicius Jr as he also thinks Vini Jr was deserving the Ballon D'or. This Rodri win is truly divisive. Massively divisive and Rodri is a player I like and rate as possibly the best CDM in world football today and an important part of the MAN CITY SUPER TEAM.

PS: Can't post a pic of it as NL is acting funny.
When Haaland was a key player in Manchester City winning the League, FA Cup and Champions League. He broke the English Premier League highest goal scorer record. He was highest goal scorer in The Champions League. He was also the highest goal scorer in European club football that year.

However, he was snubbed and the award given to Messi for winning World Cup.

Manchester City did not throw tantrums or avoid award. Haaland even congratulated Messi after he won it.

So this Euro year, Rodri who was fantastic in all competitions, pulled nice stats for a defensive midfielder, and iced his performances by being the best player of the Euros. I mean best player of the Euros.

After all that stunt with Messi to rob Haaland, do you expect the same people to ignore Rodri being the Euro 2024 player of the tournament.

Vinicius Jr. should clean his tears, lace his boots to end this season with a bang. As for last season, it was Rodri.

In the end he won the Bundesliga and the German cup, you don't compare it to a coach who won the Champions league, Spanish league and Spanish super cup, heck considering league standings he's not even achieved more than Pep who won a more difficult league

Turkish player on osimhen

Former Beşiktaş striker 𝔹𝕒𝕥𝕦𝕙𝕒𝕟 𝕂𝕒𝕣𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕫 as quoted by 𝑺𝒖𝒑𝒆𝒓𝑯𝒂𝒃𝒆𝒓🎤

"Victor Osimhen, I have never seen such a player since the day he arrived, comes out and tears himself apart when he scores a goal. He never reversed his movements when he stepped left and right. Run to that defender, run to that defender. Well done to you!

"So many big world stars will come to a league like ours and I will get tired watching… This is what you call a football player, he gives full value for the money he gets.

"They hired a guy named Victor Osimhen, can a center forward kick the ball in every position? This is cheating, close this. Osimhen needs to be banned from the Super League, cancel his character. Unfair competition, this guy!

"He comes to his own penalty area for the corner, kicks the ball. He goes to the opponent's penalty area, gets into a goal position. He turns and gets the ball in the midfield, and is in the counter-attack again.

"What kind of a player is this, I have never seen such a player! Send him back, whoever is taking him, Osimhen has become a scourge to the Super League"

I don’t think there’s a better hardworking striker in modern day football right now than monster machine
