But some brainwashed people will attribute this to a right against the church and body or Christ without carefully reading through to understand the reason for this. |

He said granting airstrips to private individuals and organisations “will aid illegal importation of firearms and hard drugs into the country, thus heightening insurgency, kidnapping, banditry, and other vices that are seriously affecting the socio-economic development of the country”.Toh Na for the gatekeeper of hell to open the gate for some people to enter be that. ![]()

They should also ban Tiktok too where bandits are displaying proceeds of banditry. Then, they should ban motorcycles all across the country cos they are being used by bandits and armed robbers. Dumb asz idiots The way to combat terror is to go after sponsors and beneficiaries. Go after the sponsors, identify their children, burn their businesses, plan accident for their vehicles. Don't arrest them, make them cry. That's how it will stop. |

Nobody has time to be sponsoring banditry in the south. The north has also never needed a private airstrip and they are able to smuggle in and out. |

This is the right call. A private airstrip is tantamount to unchecked power to single person. How can one man control a major 'exit and entry point' in a country of 250 plus million population? Regardless of the religion reason for doing it (easy transportation). According to "game theory", you can't predict human behavior in certain situations or conditions all the time. The owner of the airstrip might begin to secretly use it for commercial purposes with little or no checks on who or what is taking out on who or what is coming in. That's very risky in an insecure place like Nigeria where corruption thrives. |

The example being given of a 2014 plane and its problem in South Africa, did that plane take off from a private runway? The private runaway, will it not be manned by FAAN? Does it suddenly become a rogue facility, free from the regulator of aviation in the country? Let the attention of the northern elites for once be focused on the security infringement in their region and then one will take them seriously. If their plan for their region is for bandits to be overrunning military training facilities, power installations and large forests and highways / railway tracks, other regions want development. |
| Re: Canaanland Risks Losing Airstrip As Reps Seek Revocation Of Private Licenses by writeprof(m): 7:02am On Oct 31, 2024 |
OP, why single out Canaanland? I wonder if FAAN even know the number of those with private airstrips. The Rep has a point but we all know if they're sincere, focus should be more on the north where gold is being 'smuggled' out by air. How has so-called bandits being receiving arms? Leaving the real thing to chase shadows by so-called leaders. |

Myopic, religious and ethnic champion. It is all clear From their reasons for opposing this. I was reading to see altruistic reasons but I only found hate-filled ones. Meanwhile I have yet to see a good reason for the proposed airstrip or whatever in the canaanland. |

JASONjnr: helinues:Such motion can not work. Is just an attempt that can not be implemented yet. Islamic jihadists that are full of poverty are scared and threaten by church riches, and therefore raising useless excuses that are simple to solve. NDLEA and other security agencies concerned in aviation industry can have their representatives stationed within those private approved facilities for regular routine check and offer re-accreditation/assessment every two years or more. The excuse is baseless, religion envy and jealousy is the intrinsic motives behind raising such baseless allegation when NDLEA and other security concern can just extend their bases to those privates given licenses for routine security monitoring. |
