Real Christians don't pray for community their leader (Christ) has warned them that no matter how bad the situation of things as long as God's Kingdom hasn't come the condition of all human society in general will continue to deteriorate.
So instead of praying we speak to our neighbors about what our Master Lord and King Christ Jesus taught us as the only solution to mankind's problems: The government from God or God's Kingdom.

According to the founder of Christianity the best place to get real families is within the group he commissioned! Matthew 12:46-50

So to your questions God's organization is the one and only SOCIAL SUPPORT SYSTEM we have that's why you will notice ex-Jehovah's Witnesses complaining bitterly because they can never ever find better FRIENDS outside God's organization where LOVE permeates the whole assembly of worshipers! John 13:34-35

That's why Jesus said to Jehovah's Witnesses:

“You are the light of the world. A city cannot be hid when located on a mountain. People light a lamp and set it, not under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it shines on all those in the house. Likewise, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your fine works and give glory to your Father who is in the heavens". Matthew 5:14-16

Though you can't find any other religious group speak well about us {Matthew 5:11-12} because we don't practice interfaith {Matthew 16:6, 12} they always call us Satanists and cult {Matthew 10:24-25} but please ask them to present a better performing group than JWs i'm sure they will turn against you instantly with insults.
WHY?
There is no other group or religion where you can find a real global family like the true Christian group: Jehovah's Witnesses! Isaiah 2:2-4 compare to Zephaniah 3:9

I've traveled to many lands and each family of my faith living there are willing to welcome me home as if they've known me before.
That's exactly what true faith supposed to achieve globally!

Great, thank you. How do you see this experience playing out over time? In some countries, churches play the role of government in many ways (where government is either really small, or in cases where the church is the legislative itself), do you find that you meet new people and build relationship outside the church?

What do you mean they fill gaps where government services are limited? In what way? Have you been to Nigeria at all to see for yourself that churches and mosques are merely leeches/vampire systems that serve to devour what the government has not itself been able to devour of the communities they are built in?
