The economy hardship is getting worst by the day. This is how little Akara (Kosai) 200, Potatoes 200, Buns 200 and Yam 200 naira look like here in Kaduna.

Early last year, I can not finish 300 naira Akara alone. But today, 4 small balls of Akara is sold for 200. The recent increase in the price of vegetable Oil has made matters worst.

Contrary to the common thinking here, eating out is not cheap. If I decide to buy a mudu of beans, a tuber of yam, a mudu of flour and ingredients for puff puff, oil, pepper, onion and so on. It would cost me about 8k, but I would eat the food op bought for over 3 weeks if not more. Op spent 600 naira to eat these in small portion. If he had 8k to spare for these, he can only do that for 2 weeks. I on the other hand would do same for over 3 weeks.
