So yesterday, a next door neighbor narrated his plight to me, and I felt so touched.

He is a young guy of 29years. He came to live with his cousin here in Porthacourt. After 7months, the cousin relocated to Abuja leaving him all alone in Porthacourt. After the relocation, the rent expired same months and he got evicted, leaving him stranded. Luckily he has a friend who lives close to me. He begged his friend to allow him put up with him for some time so he can source for funds & get a place. The friend refused. But after much plea, he allowed him in. Trust me, this guy is a very humble guy and well-mannered and hardworking. He just came into town and it hasn't been easy with him. It's a normal process for every beginner.
After one month of staying with his friend, the friend is asking him to leave. He told me that he contributes to everything in the house and has been responsible. But his friend keeps telling him that he can't stay in same room with a fellow man. That's just his reason. This guy would bring his girlfriend into the house. The girl will only come to cook, sleep, wake up and be on the phone for several hours talking to guys while the boyfriend has gone to work.
I don't know how I can advise this guy. Pls guys let's offer our wise counsel

I don't know what the World is turning into that a guy cannot help his fellow guy. He would rather accommodate his cheating and lazy girlfriend.

How do you, as a struggling young man whose salary isn't up to 50k working as a supervisor in a hotel accommodate a girl who doesn't have a job or skill and only chooses to stay with u and only cook? She just derives pleasure in cooking. Can't sweep or even do clean up. The girl is totally dependent on the guy for even the littlest stuffs like airtime, data, hair, transport. If she's leaving her place to come visit this guy, the guy must send her transport fare before she can come cos she has nothing of her own. It's really very irritating. Same girl is still cheating. She came to Porthacourt to live with her own female cousin, and to work. But since she came, she hasn't worked. She would leave her cousin's place to come stay with this guy for weeks doing nothing. This is really troubling to say the least.

You op, why not take him in yourself? Or is your own girlfriend also coming to cook, sleep and be on the phone with other guys when you go to work? What am I even saying sef, you seem jobless too.

Take him in yourself. You can be of help instead of coming online to tell us how lazy the guy's gf is.

You must have a mental issue.
A young man has the right to spend the money he earns anyhow he likes. It is non of your bleeping business if he cannot accommodate his fellow man or his siblings sef.

Are you angry with the so called girlfriend for being accommodated instead of the humble guy? I don't understand.
Why don't you accommodate the stranded guy and let peace reign?
