Ofcourse, showimg love materialistically or with cash gifts is good but that should be done voluntarily and with genuine positive intentions. Not because you are avoiding your business been robbed. These so called give aways may not have any cost impact on your business but indirectly you are empowering and enabling the thieves, what if you stop giving? Or eventually the population of the recievers increase to the extent you cannot afford to give all of them, what bout other shops/businesses who cannot afford to give? What if these people begin to demand for more? for how long will you keep giving?
