Some took me to task saying I was wrong when l said he would not get into a English League one team. Calling me HATER , etc.

Well he has played one game for Barnsley and has been demoted to the U21 .

This is not about Nwakali but the deliberate misinformation and disinformation presented here by many continuously for 6/8 years non 🛑 stop.

Powerfully-built Nasarawa United central defender Victor Collins is one of the players to catch the eye in the CHAN Eagles training ahead of a final qualifying playoff against Ghana next month.


The left-footed centre back has shown his class with his aerial power and distribution.

The Enugu State-born defender is currently at Nasarawa United after a stint at Remo Stars, Iraqi club Amanat Bagdad and the Latvian club Liepaja FK.

He helped Remo Stars win promotion to the NPFL from the second-tier NNL.

He was called up to the Flying Eagles in 2019.

This season, he was a pillar of strength and reliability as ‘The Solid Miners’ outscored star-studded Kano Pillars led by captain Ahmed Musa with Super Eagles coach Augustine Eguavoen watching from the stands in Lafia.

His standout displays in the CHAN Eagles training camp could well lead to bigger things for the big defender sooner rather than later.

Incidentally, his emergence has come at a time there is a need to add vitality in the heart of the Super Eagles rear guard.

Kelechi Nwakali should not allow the frustration get to him. Yes he is in a very bad spot but getting frustrated is not the way.

He needs to stay humble and keep pushing. Pick himself up again and start training. Give each training 100% and leave the rest to God.

As long as he keeps working hard in training, keep himself fit, with time things will fall into place.

He should not sweat it and I pray for the best for him.
