If I buy like 20k fuel

If I do like 6 to 7 ride.
Fuel will finish.
Highest ride I dey see na 3k.
I only get back my fuel..

Its better to fill up your tank if you are using it for ride hailing. That way, you will be able to make commensurate returns

Issue is the fuel quantity
20k fuel is just 20 litres or less

This was previously 40 litres.

Maybe u are judging with old quantity.

Besides the distance.

If you feel it is a car issue maybe check the mechanic.

Increase ur ride charge

Go see your mechanic... Plenty things can affect your fuel consumption besides most of the fuel being imported in Nigeria are of very low quality....

Something is wrong with that car!! I use 09 of that same car and they carry the same engine which is 4 cylinder VVT-i. Though, 20k fuel is just 2 bar of your fuel meter which is enough for you to do more than 5-7 trips. Kindly get a rewire to carefully clean the fuel pump and check on the RPM. The engine might be working heavily but that car doesn't consume much fuel. 20k fuel won't finish if I go from Ilorin-Osogbo on AC. Something is wrong bro

Open your bonnet and check if your air filter is dirty. If it filled with dust your car will consume excessive fuel. Change the air filter or just dust it out and return back

Bro 20k is about 16-18 liters.

With 16-18 liters of fuel if you make 6-7 rides, of an average of 20km and above per ride with AC, it would definitely finish.

TAKE YOUR CAR TO A MECHANIC WORKSHOP

The problem is the fare. Average trip consumes between 1.5 to 2 liters and 20k fuel will get you 18+ liters.

If you're doing 3k trips you will need 9 trips to break even after commission and fuel

This is minus cost of moving about in between trips.

But still check your catalytic converter, silencer, plugs and nuzzle to be sure maybe they are not causing your car to overwork.

I recently my car of similar model for the same reason of high fuel consumption.

Car was gulping too much fuel for no reason. Had to sell it after three years of use.

Good thing is, I made 500k off the amount I bought for it in 2021.

If you're in any other state but Edo... do CNG

You would have added the make oder and year of the car

1.8 litre Corolla guzzling fuel,never, when you not driving 3.5 liter engine.
Check if your thermostat is missing, restore back to factory settings.never run your fan direct

Check if catalytic converter is missing, restore back to factory settings.
