There may have been other mods they did that may have "reduced/normalise" your fuel consumption. The engine has to reach 90°C before cooling starts. Cooling an already cool engine (from the start) is very very inimical for the engine and it's fuel efficiency

Yes the fan starts blowing the moment you start the car . I believe an ac man brought it to this state .

I'm an Audi/VW hobbyist/enthusiast so I'm not the right person for advice on pricing of Toyota parts.

Okay I will try to buy a new abs so my speedometer will start working again. And I'd be able to know my fuel consumption, I'm using same car with the op, 2012 corolla. 40k fuel normally finishes in a day or two at most. Last month alone I bought over 600k fuel, my movement isn't much, I normally goes to my mom place, church, that's all but yet the fuel consumption of my corolla is out of this world.

To get fuel consumption per distance
Fill the tank to the top.
Reset the odometer trip meter
See how far you drive before you get the empty light.
Fill up and do it again.
Divide the reading from the trip meter by the amount of gas you put in
That will give you the distance/liter

You can also do a tune up for relatively cheap:
Change plugs
Change plug wires
Do an oil change
Change oil filter
Change Air filter.
Also, inflate the tires to the top of the limit.

One important thing to do is watch how you drive. I know it can be tough if you're in Lagos. But more coasting and less starting and stopping will increase your fuel efficiency.

Negotiate your own price with passengers, stop doing rides at the online rates, e-hailing platforms prices are not in tune with reality... As for your car, it's intact, ignore those advicing you to fix what is not broken..

i used this particular car for uber in Abuja for almost 2yrs, you're correct, it consumes fuel alot.... If u want to enjoy it ehn...fill up d tank.... Nothing is wrong with the car
