There was this day I was at the public library building reading my book and working on my laptop. I knew when I was being scrutinized and wondered what was wrong with the girl and what does she want from me. She passed by me the second time, letting her gaze linger on me, I looked up, our gaze met and she walked away. Can you imagine this girl walking past me again?

I noticed her the third time and started feeling uncomfortable, afterwards, she summoned enough courage, sauntered up to me, and muttered "Excuse me", I looked up. "I need some help from you?" How can I be of help, I replied, she continued " I live with my aunt and told her I was going to visit a friend when I left home, can I take a picture with you to show to her as my friend please? "

To be frank, I was momentarily stunned into an awkward silence by this request, why would a small girl want to take a picture with a random adult stranger? I shook my head, so after ten years abroad, my village people still dey reason my matta and working overtime to get me in jail or possibly deported.

Guys ladies, this was a strange occurrence and what do you think about this weird encounter? What do you think she was planning? What would you have done in my shoes and do you think she was telling the truth about her aunt?

Also a word of advice, you know to get out of Nigeria and obtain a status outside is not a small matter. lots of people even sell their houses to travel. Do not chat with a minor or have anything to do with a minor abroad, it is not worth it at all, It is a big crime here. I know most guys get away with lots of shit in Nigeria but once you step out of the country, you have to be very careful about your relationship with the opposite sex, even if she comes to your house, drunk and naked, run for your life.

It is not worth it ruining your life because of a small girl still learning body hygiene. Even if she claimed to be an adult and you have an inking of doubt in your mind, run for your dear life biko. A word is enough for the wise.

Alas, It was this same woman grabbing my shoulder telling they were leaving and she wanted to introduce herself, she told me her name and I told her good night and afterwards she let go of me. If na me try that shi, walahi, them go don call the cops on me.
