At this rate, will Mo Salah get an APOTY podium finish?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 10:56pm On Nov 09, 2024
If Liverpool don't bottle this lead (5 pts gap over City, 10 pts gap over Arsenal), then it would mean Salah having a big hand in their EPL title chase and eventual win (if they don't bottle).

So yep, Salah could get into the APOTY discussions strongly for 2025.

Man like Iwobi
Great to see Fulham pushing for top 6
I pray they sustain the momentum
If Iwobi and Smith are in top form and they get maybe a striker in January and let Harry Wilson continue his super sub form, they'll definitely finish in top 8.

Fulham
Bournemouth
Nottingham Forest
Brentford

These 4 are mid table teams that we can't point which will finish ahead of the other 3 currently. But Brentford and Forest are well loaded and coached. The other are more of coaching than loaded to see that form thru.

Guy knows it's his final ride and he wants to do it in style. Its more likely they'll clinch than City with such run of form. Man is everywhere in all time epl charts right now. Only he no just show for country.

For Country, he's trying and still pushing but hasn't had the luck.

2 Afcon Finals in 2017 and 2021 lost to Cameroun and Senegal respectively.

Ademola Lookman got the 2024 APOTY in the bag.

But for the 2025 APOTY, Lookman's true rival is Mohamed Salah.

Bia my man, na only una wey fatigue hold for England?? So fatigue is avoiding other teams.
Arsenal is also dealing with it and they have not operated on our level as long as we have.

The GoodJoe is right, the team is fatigued. After they conceded the 2nd goal, Pep was drinking lots of water because of fatigue due to dehydration sef.

Waiting for when the GJ would get fatigued of arguments too.

Only Man City has been playing matches , other clubs have been resting, that's why Man City players are exhausted.

Let me tell you, I had to watch Man City today's match from the beginning to the end just to know what's truly wrong with Man City.
The Man City I just finished watching points to 1 thing, most of Man City players aren't just good enough to play for Man City, they might excel in a smaller or medium clubs though.

Walker is old, Lewis is not worth starting for Southampton, Nunes is not better than any other players in the EPL, Gundogan and Bernando Silver contributes nothing to that team aside just hold and turning with the ball, Salvinho is not better than Micheal Babatunde, that young CB that played today can never be Cubarsi, Doku and Grealish are just to complete number's... In all, if Guardiola should continue, that Man City team needs total overhaul.
Gundogan?

Moses Simon finished with a goal⚽️ and assist🅰️ vs Ojediran's Lens but still found himself on the losing side.

Lens won 3-2 vs Nantes.
Not impressed. Doku good pass am 😐

Do you know?
Since Victor Osimhen returned back to professional football in the Nigeria 🆚 Benin match, he hasn't lost a game for both club and country (W8, D2) , playing 10 matches in total and registering 11 total direct goal contributions (7G, 4A).

We know who proper striker is... He is Victor Osimhen 🦁👑🇳🇬🦅

He plays today! 🤩

Still on record as the last player to score hattrick for SE

Victor Osimhen has two hat-tricks for the Super Eagles:

4 goals 🆚 São Tomé e Principe [A] (2022)
3 goals 🆚 São Tomé e Principe [H] (2023)

or what's the full meaning of SE boss? 🤲🏾

If a player from Ikorodu FC performs for the Eagles, I prefer him to a player who plays for top clubs but doesn't perform in our national team color.
If you have a Halaand , Mbappe , Vinicuis or a Salah and they are not performing in the national team 😞.

Do your blame the players or the national team manager ❓

England had an astonishing number of top level 🎚️ players but a extremely negative manager that made a complete hash of things.

If you are a low level 🎚️ player playing in a low-level League and club, you will not all of a sudden become a Messi/ Ronaldo when you get to the national team.

Period.

it's crazy but I trained once with this guy. Nnamdi Oduamadi. He already had an agent then, and I was looking at his boot that day, it was unlike any of ours. His don't have lace. So sleek..

He played about 30 minutes against my team, he was highly rated and I knew this one is Europe bound.

However football no be beans. Big respect for those who made it..

TheGoodJoe:

I have no choice but to address this.

You are infamous for ranting but making no meaningful contribution. That is why I am taking the liberty to educate you on the topic before you go on such rant again.

The point is simple. We have a plethora of highly gifted forwards but when we play, due to the compact set up of our oppositions, our strikers get little distribution.

To solve this we need a midfielder that is naturally gifted in long and short distributive play which will help give our forwards the arsenal to replicate their club forms.
You no get shame 🙊🙊🙊

You suppose cover your face in shame & hide 🙈🙈🙈

See somebody calling himself a football analyst 🤔🤔

You are over flogging a dead horse 🐎.

My view of him your midfield general maestro generational talent Nwakali has been consistent.

Simply mediocre and has absolutely no business being in the SE.
