That's the only guy I respect from Trump 1.0 and the guy that talked sense and stability into Trump at times

With Susie Wiles' as COS I believe Trump's second term would be better and less chaotic than the first. If he folsters peace and stabilizes the economy Republicans would do well in 2026 midterms... Virginia would be close but I think Republicans can retain the attorney general and lieutenant governor's office. The governorship might be dicey due to the democrat potential flag bearer is quite strong but if Trump records some wins in the first 6 months it'd help 2025 elections. That's why Trump needs a unified Congress.

Attorney General - Andrew Bailey/Ken Paxton/Mike Davis.
Secretary of State - Tulsi Gabbard/Rand Paul
Secretary of Defense - Mike Rogers/Mike Flynn

Hobbs is in deep trouble in 2022... Mark Lamb or Blake Masters just need to run again.

LordAdam16
Your picks are perfect.
Cosign Flynn as SecDef. He should def have the OGs be main characters. Flynn. Stone. Bannon. Grenell. Patel...

Trump has just one year to notch wins that'll preserve a GOP Congress.
Which is why Wiles is a phenomenal appointment.
He needs to stay laser focused.

End the Ukraine War. Open the spigot to drive down energy prices. Commence mass deportations in earnest.
Next end the Gaza War. Cut quarter of a trillion in spending. Pass one of the trademark campaign pledges - say phased elimination of tax on tips.
Do those before the end of the year and Team Red will be competitive for the mid terms.

He should forego distractions.
Don't get bogged down by two scoops of ice cream and anonymous reporting.
Don't focus on pleasing the Fintech magnates.

Also, he should absolutely go after Powell and get him out by hook or crook.
That mf will sabotage him. Ask Biden.

He should give Hobbs the Cheney treatment.
Rogers, Shapiro, Moore, Whitmer (*), Newsom are the 2028 top draft picks. The GOP machine should start kneecapping them from Day 1 and put a stop to this ongoing disaster in Arizona and the rubbish in Pennsylvania where they networks are withdrawing a Senate call because of provisional ballots. We need Red SoS in those battleground states.

All the 2028 hopefuls should receive strategic portfolios. Vance. Tulsi. Vivek. Youngkin. Rubio.
Don't make the Kamala mistake. Don't play favorites.
I think he should ask Carson to babysit RFK.

Georgia. North Carolina. Pennsylvania.
That's it. We've got 2 of the 3 on lock. So we should be playing offense.
Times like these you get the appeal of terrific administrators like DeSantis.

Though Democrats spent years demonizing Trump as an Islamophobe & spreading mass lies about a "Muslim ban," Trump won the popular vote in Dearborn & Dearborn Heights, American cities with the largest number of Muslims. Biden & Harris didn't bother to visit. - Ngo

Will not be voting isn't should not vote. Trump complained a lot about fraud that torpedoed him in 2020 but now we're in 2024... Why isn't down ballot races running at par or even ahead of him? I thought Trump is toxic and and establishment Republicans stood a chance.

However, he should insist on Scott or Cotton being Chief Whip.

Have to add that I feel a bit slighted that Thune had to go on CNBC to demand Trump stayed out of it. I don't know what audience he was tap dancing for, but this isn't 2016 or 2020. And Trump has legitimate reasons to get involved.

Yeah let his henchmen be his closest buddies... No room to play across the aisle BS appointments or they'll stab him in the back again.

He needs to stay focused and don't react to bait and catchy headlines from the MSM... Borrow a playbook from DeSantis - give liberal hack media the DeSantis treatment.
The party must be start laying the foundation for 2025, 2026 and 2028... Democrats mustn't have the upper hand again.

Powell needs to go by hook or by crook... Force him to resign or tie him down with something that can possibly indict him.

I agree the repubs should fiercely start attacking those governors with high approval ratings especially those in swing states. Beshear, Shapiro and Whitmer shouldn't be allowed to go into the midterms with high approval ratings... Wes Brown could be a sleeper too, so republican should start attacking him as a far leftist from a liberal bubble.
GOP's success starts from the very first moment Trump got sworn in.

2028 potentials should be given positions that can boost their image... DeSantis should be brought in to actively be part of Trump's government. He should help build JD Vance's image and charisma.
They should start finding a strong recruit to challenge Hobbs early. They need to flip secretary of state positions in Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania too.

The supreme Court really did Republicans dirty back in 2022...it was bad for the short term but good/necessary in the long run.
The downside was it hemorrhaged support for the Republicans and slowed their momentum going into the midterms. So the neocons and never Trumpers saw it as a perfect opportunity to exterminate Trump and quench his light.
As long as there's discipline in the Trump's administration and no unnecessary Supreme Court ruling then everything should be alright.

Republican management needs to find a solution to their bleeding down ballot support... There's no way the crazies are underperforming while the so-called establishment normal Republicans are outrightly losing.

How can Trump win Marc Molinaro's district while the very incumbent lost?
Trump won NC-1 by 4 points but Don Davis won by 1.5 huh
Trump won Maine-2 by 7 points but Jared Golden the Dem would win by 1.

There has to be a solution to republican brand before it's midterm.

I really want DeSantis to be given a prominent role given the way he put the Liberal woke agenda on the front burner and broke them and the media starting with Disney.

The game starts now. We need to "Florida" Pennsylvania. We need to turn Pennsylvania red permanently from a swing state. Scott Pressler will be motivated cos his ground game to register voters was incredible

Youngkin needs to win VA a second term. I will like to see a Youngkin, DeSantis, Rubio, Vance field for 2028.

Next thing turn Virginia, New Jersey into swing states

Liberals and the Democrats have kneecapped themselves already, just hang the culture wars on their neck, the men in female sports, transitioning of kids on their neck, The defund police, the decriminalizing of crime. All those are enough to turn off regular voters

When voters see what the liberal cities are doing, the people sleeping on the streets in San Francisco.

Also the supreme court, is a priority get young Black conservative man to replace Clarence, Young Hispanic man to replace Alito, prepare a replacement for Roberts and talk to Sotomayor if she can retire and get a Hispanic woman to replace her

The truth is the experiences have changed me. Left me more jaded.

Do you disagree about the Transactional Nature of relationships in Nigeria and also that most Nigerian relationships are defined by "traditional" male/female roles?

I hear you about the micro utterance.

I would not characterize all women like that, this is about this particular person.
Though, I do have a larger problem with the transactional nature of relationships in Nigeria, Lagos esp and this ties into that.

Honestly, she's stunning and so gets a lot of attention from everyone (even women). So not only about men.
And so I think, she's used to and very comfortable getting her way.
I won't characterize her as manipulative as everyone has their own agency, others may.
But from her stories and what I've seen it is generally one way. And quite baffling to me.
If you suggest you want something and someone gives it to you, eh.

Our relationship is a bit different as I don't have patience for all that.
And we have had plenty of discussions about the "onewayness" of her "interactions".

So, I was jabbing Raum as he would probably throw all his money at her so she could smile. And she would smile so that raum could throw all his money at her.

The problem is that I'm a Western left of center guy with a lot interactions with Nigerian people who live in Nigeria.
And these interactions, because where Nigeria is, remind me, unfortunately that it is sometimes about gender.
And the wild thing, to my dismay, it's generally woman who remind me.
You're simply human, my man. You can't get everything right.

Like, did he try to engage her further? And SHE CONTINUED to maintain her Pro-Trump stance, after all the "conspiracist theories," and "fascist propaganda" she has likely been exposed to?

If he was cool with hanging out with a religious person (as per the way he described her), I am suree she definitely holds other opinions he's doesn't share. So why the draw the line at Trump? And yes, at simply a vocal support when she's not even yet a citizen that can vote?

Would it not be better for him to not have offered her any help in the first place, than for him to leave her hanging... oh God.

3.) We're just friends and I keep it that way as I couldn't honestly rationalize to my g/f maintaining a relationship with her if we weren't.
4.) We did have a discussion about Trump. She shut it down and said she doesn't talk about Politics (explained to you she likes getting her way). I explained to her, FYI, my Politics are the way they are because of my faith. And I consider Trump contrary to everything I believe. And we're friends because I trust your judgment. Supporting Trump means you have poor judgement.
She was pissed. Oh well. Her choices. C'est la vie.
Anyone that can support a racist rapist is not anyone I can call a friend.

Didn't expect her to take the offer.

Leftist groups petition Arizona Supreme Court fo ra few extra days to find more ballots

Update, Nov. 9: American Civil Liberties Union and the Campaign Legal Center filed an emergency petition to the Arizona Supreme Court on Saturday morning, asking the court to extend the deadline for voters to respond to problems with their mail ballot signatures. The original deadline is 5 p.m. Sunday. Because of the delays in counting ballots and notifying voters of problems, the organizations want voters to be given an additional two to four days to respond to notices, depending on how officials notify voters there is a problem.

That's why there should be no mail-in ballots. Same day voting, paper ballots, hand counting at every polling station and voter ID.
I'm hoping team Trump will make sure this is implemented .

New information has surfaced revealing Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer's strong dislike for Republican Kari Lake. Lake, a former news anchor who became a conservative figure, lost the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election and is currently in a close contest for the U.S. Senate against Democrat Ruben Gallego. The county is still counting ballots from Tuesday's election. After her defeat in 2022, Lake filed several lawsuits challenging the election's integrity but was unable to change the outcome. According to the Daily Mail, Richer's disdain for Lake was highlighted in a June 21 deposition where he discussed messages with a friend that suggested various political moves against her, including making her life difficult as part of his strategy. When asked why he would want to do this, Richer stated he didn't recall but expressed doubts about her conservatism. These remarks were made during a defamation lawsuit Richer has initiated against Lake, which he describes as "frivolous." Following his recent electoral loss on Tuesday, Richer deleted his X account and stated that he no longer felt compelled to respond publicly to inquiries. Meanwhile, Lake is trailing Gallego by just one percentage point with only 84% of votes counted in Arizona's ongoing race

DeSantis has already said or signalled he isn't leaving Florida for Trump's administration. I saw the news.

Pennsylvania can be a permanent red state if the Republicans play their card very well... It's one of the swing states where down ballot candidates didn't underperform Trump to the extent of losing.

There isn't a consecutive second term in Virginia so Youngkin isn't running again but the LG and AG can run for a second term.
There's no way anyone serious would challenge Vance; a sitting vice president to the nomination.

"Liberals and democrats just kneecapped themselves" but other Republicans are grossly underperforming Trump down ballot... How do they fix that before midterms?
I can remember your saying that Trump would pull down Republicans if he's the nominee but look at the results. I kept saying Trump wasn't the reason Republicans didn't get a red wave in 2022.

The Supreme Court would definitely get younger but I don't think Sotomayor would want Trump replace her... She'd have to be carried out on a stretcher or even die like RBG (she was on wheelchair and adamantly refused to step down because she didn't want Trump to replace her)
